Pachmayr, Diamond Pro Grip, Fits Taurus P-Defender Poly, Black

Absolute must have for my Judge Public Defender Poly. Having the extra length to get one more finger on the grips makes a huge difference in shooting comfort. Easy install, snug fit, very similar finish as the factory grips. If I ever were to get another judge, I wouldn’t even get it out of the box before I ordered a set of these for it.

It fits amazing on my taurus and honestly feels amazing compared to the original grip, went on smoothly with no troubles at all, very comfortable, I definitely recommended this to others who want a full hand grip

Sometimes the little changes can make all the difference. I’d been using a polymer .410 revolver to clear a housing development of numerous Water Moccasins and ended up injuring my 75 year old right hand after it twisted with every shot. Adding this Pachmayr grip gave me a more accurate and comfortable fit and kept my hand from twisting on discharge. Small price. Big improvement!

The only replacement grip for a Public Defender- and it fits like a glove. I was able to get it almost all the way seated just with hand strength, then a couple of firm (careful) taps with a rubber mallet or a dead-blow hammer to make it snug. This grip gives you a place for ALL your fingers a dramatically improves your control over this monster. Highly recommended.

THIS GRIP IS FOR THE TAURUS PUBLIC DEFENDER POLY. Not sure if it’ll fit on the other versions of the public defender(non poly). I ordered the other one at first, it wouldn’t fit and I was unhappy until I read a review of review that said to get this one for the Poly. Feels great in hand, tight and secure on gun.

The first thing I noticed about the medium frame Taurus Judge Public Defender Polymer was that the "ribber grip" that came on it was quite small for the size of the gun. You can't get your little finger on the grip. I assume Taurus was thinking that since this revolver is smaller than their full-size Judge, they needed to make the butt small for concealment purposes. OK, given the number of these revolvers that are said to be carried under judicial robes. But I don't see this as a concealment-carry weapon. So I bought this Diamond Pro grip to replace the much smaller ribber grip. It adds an inch to the length of the grip and provides a much fatter grip. It makes the gun seem much larger, but will make the revolver much more controllable. It says it features air pockets in strategic places to lessen recoil. I haven't fired the gun since changing out the grips, but I'm guessing the fat grips will do exactly that. Only reason I didn't give it five stars it that I would have liked something this length that wasn't quite so fat. But I have long fingers, so it should work fine for open carry.
