I took a punt on this cooling blanket, and I’m really glad I did. With temperatures hitting 30°C here in the UK, my usual weighted blanket has become far too hot to sleep under , it’s just been unbearable at night.As soon as I unpacked this one, I could feel the difference. The fabric feels cool to the touch straight out of the box, which instantly gave me hope. I tested it out and it genuinely works ,it helps regulate my body temperature and doesn’t trap heat like my old blanket.The material is super lightweight and incredibly soft. As someone who’s autistic and sensitive to textures, that’s a huge deal for me. It doesn’t irritate my skin or feel overwhelming in any way, it’s just really comfortable and breathable.There is a slight smell when it first comes out of the packaging, but that’s pretty standard with new products and I’m sure it’ll disappear after a wash.All in all, this has been a pleasant surprise. It feels like a quality product, does exactly what I hoped it would, and has already made these hot nights much more bearable. Fingers crossed it holds up after a few washes but first impressions are excellent.I got this on the 21st June - it is now 9 July. Still very happy with this and even had it in a 30° wash which the Car label says I can do, dried quick and smells lovely now.

If you suffer from overheating at night, this is amazing. I didn’t think it would be s good as it is. The silky side literally DOES feel cool to the touch. I may even buy another to put under me in bed. Women of a certain age will know exactly what I’m talking about. Highly recommend & have told many friends about it. It’s pure magic.

Wasn't sure what to expect regards the cooling aspect. It does keep me cool to start with but warms up after a while, I have slept well whilst using, it's very slippy, I have had to retrieve it a couple of times off. It is well made and good quality. I use it but my husband didn't like it.

With nighttime temperatures between 16 and19 degC this was indispensable. It’s light and silky to the touch. With just this blanket and a sheet (to protect it from my cats) I stayed cool all night with no sweating. I had to move my legs around a little at first as the patch of blanket does warm up but quickly cools down again when I moved. I’m seriously considering buying another as a bottom sheet if it gets any warmer.

I was hoping the blanket would do what it said on the box and what the other reviews I read had said but unfortunately for me it didn't keep me cool.It's a lovely blanket with 2 different materials on each side and 1 does feel cooler but it doesn't cool me down or stay cool .

I had heard about these so called cooling blankets and thought how on earth does that work?, well I can tell you it does, it feels like it has just come out the fridge, it’s so very soft big enough for two to be under it, with this last heatwave it has been the best purchase for keeping cool through the hot muggy night, made well definitely value for money, the other day I walked into the room and both my goddaughters were sat under just beaming saying how cool it was it’s a winner

I have used this over the past week in the south of the UK. It's been hitting 30° this past week. I was sceptical that it would do what it says on the box.It does start off cool on the skin, which is nice if your already hot before getting into bed.I do like to snuggle up and have a light weight quilt on the bed already as a sheet just doesn't give that snuggle feeling. I do have an air-conditioning unit in my bedroom but have still been waking up hot and sweaty though out the night and in the morning (perimenopause) Since using this blanket I haven't woken up at all hot and sweaty. I am impressed at the moment as it does seem to be helping keeping me cool which nothing else did.The size is not bad but I wished I got the biggest one but that's just personal preference as I need space and not be squashed up to partner. Especially when its hot and humid. I am now thinking about getting another, so I don't have to speed wash and dry to get it back on the bed. As I don't want to sleep without it now.

Cold for about 30 seconds and then warms up, works exactly the same as taking the duvet out of your sheet and sleeping with just the sheet. Don't waste your money.
