Using it to downlight a bust on a shelf and it works really well. The unit looks clean and neat and is very adjustable. The only problem I had was that the batteries came loose too easily. Easily solved by stretching the spring at the negative terminal by pulling with small scissors. Now the batteries stay in fine. Fitted on a wall so used the screws. Other reviewers use the sticky pads on walls/ceilings then complain when the unit falls off and breaks. Has to be the screws on a wall as per the instructions. Great value - comes as two units which I didn't realise so we'll have to find a use for the other one now. The timer on the remote and the dimming are all good stuff and work well. Glad I bought this.

Does the job. Brightness is decent, I use it as a spotlight for my dart board and works well, comes with velcro sticky pads which the instructions aren’t clear on what they’re for or to use but other than that it’s done me well so far.

Well designed and made spotlights I got a pair of these as downlighters to go over my two upright freezers as when the doors are open, they block out the light from the window and ceiling light leaving the drawers in darkness.Easy to install, I screwed them to the ceiling rather than using the double-sided tape supplied. I was disappointed that the lights didn't come with screws, particularly as the keyholes for the lights to be easily taken down for battery replacement are far too small for standard screw heads. Fortunately I had four screws of the correct size.I haven't used the timer or dimmer functions on the remote and am unlikely to do so given what I am using them for but as to providing adequate and adjustable illumination they do the job perfectly. The addition of a small magnet stuck to the back of the remote (one remote works both lights) so it sticks to the freezer door and it was job done! My wife is very pleased with the result too.

This was just what I was looking for to highlight a canvas in my spa and relaxation room. I mounted it on a wall at right angles to the canvas and behind me, as I didn't want to be looking at the light while relaxing on massage table. I mounted it on a simple panel pin and put it sideways, as it had more movement in the direction I needed in this way.It's great that it has a remote control and you can scroll through levels of brightness and also set it to go off after 15 mins etc or however long you want it. I am very pleased with this and because I only need one and it comes as a pair, I have a spare should I ever need it. So far the batteries are going strong after quite a few sessions. Panel pins will hold this in position, as it's lightweight, so I wouldn't bother with screws or sticky pads, which are included. I highly recommended this handy piece of kit. Either light will work from both remotes.

Love the lights and they our job perfectly. They are only on 3 hours an evening and haven’t lasted a week though battery wise?

I wanted to illuminate a special picture in the hall but there is no convenient power source and our electrician's estimate to install a circuit and light was eye watering. When I found these LED Puck Lights I was unsure but for the price I thought I would give them a try. Wow - see the difference! They are well constructed and easy to fix to the wall or (in my case) the ceiling where they can be angled to focus light where you want. For convenience I used the self adhesive velcro pads and they were fitted in no time. The remote control works flawlessly and aside from on/off buttons, it has 50% / 100% brightness options, separate dimmer buttons and a timer giving 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes illunination. I have not tested the battery life yet but like others I will probably go for re-chargeables. Overall these lights were a fantastic buy and excellent value for money.

It was just what we wanted to show off our picture, it really showed it off. We had it stuck on the ceiling as that was the best angle. Just 3hrs later we heard this crash, when we investigated we found the light on the floor with the sticky back attached, the whole lot had come down . We put it together with cellotape as the light still worked and put it back on the ceiling but just under 3hrs this time the whole lot was down again! No good sending you a photo as other than the celotape it looks perfect it's the sticky back that is the problem and wondering what you suggest as you cannot screw it to the ceiling. A wonderful little light but obviously not to be put on a ceiling as the sticky is not strong enough.Many thanksBryan Joynes

This spot is so useful when you don’t want to install new wiring and it’s a very clever design. It’s easy to install but try out the position before fixing in place - closer to small pictures, further away for large pictures. I noted someone’s feedback about the Velcro fixing not being strong enough so chose to screw the spot in place. Worth buying the most powerful, and best quality batteries to achieve the brightest light for longer.
