4stars cause I had to go to separate source for the electric start kit. used it to replace the original 7hp briggs& Stratton engine, doesn't even know that it's pulling a tractor and rider at half throttle.

The package was stuck in customs for about three weeks. When the engine arrived, the carton was obviously damaged. I opened the box to find the fuel tank and throttle adjustment plate all bent. I contacted the seller and sent pictures, their response was to send replacement parts. It appears the parts were taken off an engine on the assembly line. The new fuel tank and throttle plate took two weeks to ship and two weeks in transit. I am very happy with this engine, it fired right up on the second pull (then the pull cord broke :-( ). I bought an electric start kit for it and installed it on a 1968 Sears Suburban garden tractor. The oil drain plug is a little inconvenient in my application since it's in the front. I bought a Fumoto F108SX tooless drain valve for it (M16x1.5 threads) so I wouldn't have to take the grille off to do an oil change. The engine doesn't come with any accessories since it isn't sold as an electric start unit. I also purchased a vibration sense hour meter so I can keep up with oil change intervals. I have done the first oil change, there was some debris in the oil, I think that is normal. I'll find out during the next service. I will probably buy another one of these engines in the future, hopefully the price comes down a little (I remember a few years ago, the engine was available for about the same price with electric start). The keyway on the drive shaft is 5mm, not 1/4 inch as the add says. I'm adding a picture to show that the engine does indeed have an oil pressure switch port location, it does not come with a switch. I saw a question about this in the Q&A section. I added one using one purchased from Amazon, ASIN B0BRYCK498. I have it connected into the ground wire on a large white LED (Amazon B07WRH8ZZ2). With the Key off or in a loss of pressure event, the light turns off indicating no oil pressure.

Starts and runs good. 3 stars because tank mount was broken when received. Will modify rating if seller sends a new upper tank mount.

Runs good, good engine, some shipping damage but good otherwise

Great engine, arrived quickly, we use it with a semi alternator to charge our bank of 10 batteries! It used a gallon of diesel, and ran for 10 hours! I purchased a second one from this seller and it was damaged in transit this seller sent me replacement parts as quickly as they could get them. I would buy again from this seller. Because I know his word is good 👍

I bought 2 of the 9hp Diesel engines. During shipping these both had been dropped on the rope recoil starter. The ropes would pull out but not rewind. The seller quickly sent me replacement parts and the engines operate great. I would buy the again from the same seller.
