Close your eyes and picture the ideal umbrella: Golf type but Foldable and Portable and in your favourite colour. Now open your eyes. It’s done. And it’s EEZ-Y.The EEZ-Y 50" Folding Golf Umbrella performs the most important job of a great umbrella: it keeps you dry no matter the conditions without sacrificing portability to protection. You AND your best friend or significant other as it easily offers protection for two. Its Oversized Canopy - 50" (127cm) edge-to-edge width, 50" (148cm) arch span and 23" (59 cm) closed length are unique on the market. And so is its light weight - 1.2 lb (570g) – as opposed to 1.7 lb (770g) with other similar sized umbrellas. The core of the EEZ-Y Folding Golf Umbrella is the DOUBLE CANOPY construction. With conventional umbrellas, the wind rolls around the canopy and forces the edges up. But EEZ-Y's DOUBLE CANOPY construction allows the wind to pass through the vents while the secondary canopy keeps the water out, ensuring high resistance even to strong wind gusts. We believe the EEZ-Y Folding Golf Umbrella is built so that you don't need to file a warranty claim, but just in case it doesn't meet your needs, we offer a LIMITED LIFETIME GUARANTEE!That being said, how about some singing in the rain?Click the ADD TO CART button now and order your umbrella!

Nice Umbrella!
Nice Umbrella— sturdy build. A bit challenging to fully close, but easy enough partial close for quick in and out of doors until fully dry anyway. Seems like it’ll be a sturdy umbrella for many future uses. Good price for the quality!

The wind was blowing pretty hard, but the only thing that happened with ...
Umbrella arrived right on time. However, the weather gods of Texas were mocking me. The monsoon had stopped the day before, and it wasn't until last week that we got some rain. By "some rain" I mean "torrential downpours, lightning, hail, and tornado warnings." At any rate, I finally got to try out this umbrella. The wind was blowing pretty hard, but the only thing that happened with the umbrella was that it "bobbled" a bit. It didn't blow inside out at all, and it kept the top half of me dry (there's not much you can do about the bottom half, if the wind is blowing that hard). When it arrived, a coworker came by my desk and asked about it. We both remarked on how substantial the umbrella felt, weight-wise. She opened it up, and remarked that the braces looked very sturdy. This is a GREAT umbrella, well worth the price. The ONLY thing that would make this umbrella better, is if the shaft lit up, like in "Blade Runner."

handy umbrella
This umbrella was purchased after my other umbrella was lost. I keep it in my work bag (a Vera Bradley tote). It's not as compact as I was hoping, but it's very good quality. It has a vent system that is supposed to prevent it from inverting, but I haven't used it in significant wind yet. The handle has a silky rubber feel. The button to release the umbrella has two arrows in a light grey color. There is a nylon (i think, it feels and looks like a show string, but flat) wrist strap. Easily goes over my hand and hangs on my wrist. The umbrella pops out with a good amount of force after pressing the release. It collapses easily with the button as well. The button does not collapse the handle portion, only the umbrella canopy. The handle has to be pushed in manually and requires a good amount of force. For me, it requires two hands.Things to think about:-the quick release is very convienient, especially when carrying my one year old and trying to avoid getting wet- easy to hold umbrella to shield youself while getting in the car and press button to collapse after you're done before shutting the car door. HOWEVER, when you release and collapse the umbrella, it sprays water all over the inside of the car door before you close it, but most likely is already wet if it's raining.- If you collapse the umbrella canpoy, but leave the umbrella handle extended, the next time you press the button, it will not automatically pop open the canopy, you have to close the handle fully then press the button. I find this inconvienient in the car because the umbrella is wet and you have to handle it and close it before you can pop it open again at your next destination (if you follow what I'm describing).- I like the nice bright red, easy to spot on dreary days and in the dark. I do not believe the material is reflective, but I have not officially tested it.Overall, I would purchase it again and recommended this umbrella to my mother in law.

Can't CLOSE the thing! But wait til you read what the company did to make it right!!
I bought this over a year ago and have used it about 6 times. I really like the size and color and especially the double canopy which helps a lot in the wind. HOWEVER, I have finally realized that there is one flaw with this umbrella that made me finally decide to toss it and buy another. It is nearly impossible to CLOSE. Today I could hardly get into my car in a downpour, fighting to close the umbrella so I could get in out of the rain. I had to get out, manually fold it shut, getting drenched in the process, and even then I was unable to get the handle to telescope. This has happened multiple times - why did it take me so long to give it up?!This is an addendum. After I wrote this review, the company, EEZ-Y Umbrella, obviously saw the review and, completely unsolicited, sent me a replacement umbrella. It is a different version, a lovely 58" golf umbrella and upon receiving it, I find no difficulty in opening or closing it. What a company! I can't rate the old umbrella higher but give great kudos to the company any my new replacement. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Great umbrella
I got this umbrella in red and love the color. It's sturdy composition make it one of the best umbrellas I've ever had. And it fits in my travel bag perfectly, taking up no space at all!Update: Turns out my umbrella had a bit of bent metal in a rib that was pulling my hair and not allowing the umbrella to close properly. As soon as I emailed the EEZ-Y Team about it, they responded in less than 20 minutes about how to fix it. They sent me a replacement and checked in to make sure it had arrived and was working properly. Excellent customer service!

The Gust Buster
WOW. One little button actually *does* make the umbrella close! Never seen one function for closing too.The double canopy construction allows the wind to pass through the vents, ensuring incredible resistance to wind gusts. The handle isn't as tall as other umbrellas. When fully extended it remains fairly close to you. This feature also helps it keep from getting wind caught up under it. Its close enough over you it keeps rain out. This umbrella is compact yet sturdy enough to keep with me without taking up too much room. Its style is similar to larger vented umbrellas, with an overlap of material that prevents rain from getting between them. It keeps water out but lets air pass through, rather than turn your umbrella inside-out after the wind catches it. It's made well and reasonably priced. I'm really, really tired of spending money on umbrellas that either work but are enormous, or are small, made with cheap parts, and completely useless! This travel umbrella gives me the best of a larger umbrella while also not taking up the whole front seat of my car.
