Then I watched the live action remake, I think that movie was good, I allowed me to see what a movie that was a third of this movie lopped off and embalmed with Hollywood nonsense would be like. I decided to come full circle and buy this 4k Blu ray to really put a finish on my “Ghost in the Shell Experience.” As the for the quality of the product itself, it is nice to have, love to Oshii for directing this masterpiece.

Love Ghost in the Shell!
I’ve been waiting for a great price and I couldn’t have asked for a better one! This is one of my all time favorite Anime films and it’s in 4K. Great quality!

Great movie, especially if you love anime. The 4k hd dvd looks and sounds great. Comes in a cheap plastic no thrills case, but with a 4k hd dvd and blueray discs, along with a digital download voucher

10 out of 10 movie and a great upscale. Definitely worth a purchase if you are a fan of the series and have a 4K TV.

Boast in the Shell
4K is great and all. Love the choice of spoken languages being available in Dolbyworld.But to be honest, I'm not sure that this was much of a visual upgrade to the blu ray versions I already own. Still looks great, and a worthy add, if you're a fan of the movie.

Must have for anime fans sound track through a 9.1 atmos speaker set up is amazing

Packaging quality and disk quality could be better. I was worried that the disk would shatter in my ps5, luckily it didn’t. Video quality seems to be okay, I’m not an expert on Ghost in the Shell rereleases and after all it is an old movie. Content wise - movie is great and I really like the interview with creators.

Visually, an absolutely astonishing improvement, the HDR, the color vibrancy... night and day difference. 5 stars. The 4k disc's Dolby Atmos audio mix vs the standard Bluray's DTS-HD mix is a notable improvement as well. 4.5 stars.
