Beautiful Set
This is a beautiful kit with everything you need to try this, even if you’re a beginner like me. The two practice bowls are beautiful even before you break them! Well worth the cost and a great gift, whether for you or for someone else.

Make your broken pottery a thing of beauty, Japanese style
The kit is great, clear instructions and everything you need in it. It is a bit fiddly and requires patience to get it right but the practice bowls really help. It is not suitable for children as it uses epoxy glue which give off fumes and can stick your skin together!! Warning is in the kit.

Damaged gift better than before!
Lovely fun! We bought a ceramic bowl for our daughter while on holiday and it arrived home broken in 4 places so we looked for an alternative to simply gluing it back together. We bought the Kintsugi kit and she and her father had a lovely time learning this art together. The bowl will be treasured and is beautiful.

Cute but pretty pointless because of the glue
I liked the packaging and it arrived fast. I think it was a good idea to have a kit for kintsugi, as it is such a great art form, however I think this kit failed when the glue was chosen. It is super fast drying, which actually is awful for two reasons:1. Kintsugi, as a Japanese art form, is not meant to be done too fast. First of all, it should be a zen experience, which you don't get the time for with this kit; you get quite the opposite. It is pretty stressful. Precision is needed to make a quality product, which you don't get the time for with this kit. Which brings me to my second point:2. It is bad for beginners precisely for the glue that is included. If you are a beginner, you're not going to know how to work with the precision needed with such a quick setting glue, and likely not end up with a quality product. I am very much into art, and I had used superglue before for a lot of projects, so I was more or less okay, but even then, that's not everyone and it wasn't as easy as it should have been.To be fair, this was more my fault than the kit's, but one of the bowls cracked into too many pieces and I was so focused on gluing it so all pieces would fit, that I decided that it was a good idea to separate two pieces that I already glued. I ended up slashing my wrist. However, this wouldn't have happened if the glue was a slower drying one.Long story short: Change the glue.

Nice idea, but the glue wasn’t great.
Cute kit, I like that it came with bowls and a cloth to wrap them in to break them. However, the glue syringes didn’t dispense evenly, which resulted in it sometimes holding but sometimes not. It ended up really thickly spread in some areas and not others, so the result was very wonky. The little plastic spreader also quickly got caked with glue. Also the gloves were huge on my hands so when they got sticky it was really hard to control what I was doing.Would have been better with vinyl gloves that are easier to work with when sticky. The mixing card was a nice idea but didn’t work so well in practice.I also can’t figure out how to contact the seller for a refundWas a lovely idea, but unfortunately only 1 star as the glue is the most crucial part and it was so hit and miss!

Lovely little project
Broke my ramen bowl as I was hangry.. made it worse!Didn't want to throw away the bowl so got this to fix it. Was easy to use. Instructions were good, had to reread them a few times to make sure I was doing it correctly. Was a lovely little project, had to work fast but was nice that it included small bowls to practice. They look cute as jewelry bowls!Only thing is, I wouldn't eat out of the bowl incase the glue and gold powder came through to the food. Which is a shame. Doesn't say it on the package that you shouldn't eat from a bowl with it in.
