Plays well with other devices
Very pleased with this. I purchased this motion sensor and hub to go in my garage to automate turning the garage lights on and off. Initially I was hesitant to add a whole new ecosystem to my very involved smart home, but this has been a joy to work with. I downloaded the app to my phone, setup my account and plugged the hub into a network switch, that shares one port on the router with many other smart home devices. Knowing that this uses a separate radio frequency to operate and was competing with number of other devices on the switch for bandwith, I was fearful there were going to be issues with the hub not working correctly, or the Yolink radio frequency interfering with the Wifi, the Lutron, or the Zigbee, however in the end none of that occurred. Setup was easy and it integrated well with my other devices on the switch, not causing any issues. I next linked the motion sensor to the app by scanning the QR code on the motion sensor with my phone, while sitting by the hub. No problems at all, found the sensor right away, it appeared in my app, a brilliant way to do it. Then I took the motion sensor out to the garage, which is detached and on the far side of the property from the router and hub. Surely I thought there would be signal issues. I installed it on the bottom of my garage door opener, across from the Wifi signal boosters and surrounded by Zigbee lighting controllers, still the sensor maintained a very strong signal, even with the garage door closed. To this day it has not once disconnected from the hub. I installed the Alexa skill, signed in my new account and programmed a routine into Alexa to be able to activate the Zigbee lighting controllers in the garage and turn on the lights when motion was detected. No problem, worked as expected. Then the real test, can it it turn off the garage lights when no motion is detected? I had already purchased several other motion sensors that were not able to do this and fully expected another fail, I programmed the routine into Alexa and to my amazement, IT WORKED, the lights turned off after no motion was detected for the time I set. Overall I am very pleased with this, they took the Alexa integration seriously, the App is well designed and everything was easy to set up. I've already added a temperature sensor and plan to add additional plugs and motion detectors to my new Yolink ecosystem. I already suggested they add a mailbox sensor to their line up and they responded very quickly to my suggestion, so customer service is responsive. Everything I set up so far has been easy and reliable, a very good deal for the price.

Purchased the YoLink Hub/Motion Sensor to use for Mail Delivery Notification
After receipt, unpacking and familiarization, I downloaded the YoLink App, opened it up, and initiated an Account. I connected the hub to my router with the provided ethernet cable and connected the motion sensor to the hub. The hub & motion sensor set-up with the App was straight-forward without a glitch. I went into the YoLink App settings & configured the hub & motion sensor within the confines of my home, the motion sensor is responding & I'm receiving notifications on the App. I installed the motion sensor onto the inside center back wall of my mailbox, using the provided adhesive magnetic plate. Using the App I linked YoLink to my Amazon Acct. I then went into the Alexa App, Routines, and developed a routine whereby Alexa notifies me, "Bill, Mail has arrived," when the motion sensor is activated (mail delivery occurs). At the same time I receive verbal notification, it turns on a smart light just above my kitchen sink, in case I'm not in my kitchen to hear Alexa's message. It works great!! I am very pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended!

Works great on unusual mailbox
My mailbox is a mult, apartment-style, outdoor, shared by four houses. It unlocks from the top and pulls forward slightly, hinged at the bottom. The mail is loaded from the top so it only angles forward slightly. It's completely metal all around. My house is maybe, eighty feet away and the hub sits inside the house maybe another ten feet further behind double pain-coated windows and sits behind a flat-screen TV. The sensor works great. The reception is great. Have it set up to connect with Alexa, notification "mail is here" on an echo device, and lights a full-size reading lamp 25% red so I know the mail has been delivered. Also sends a message to my cell. Only false alarm I've had so far, once when the wind was blowing very hard and rattled the mailbox. Live in the desert so we get strong winds but so far only happened once. Also, it does alert when I open the mailbox and remove the mail. Couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend.

Easy to set up, nice app, works but temperature sensitive
Just received the hub and mailbox sensor. Had it set up, installed and working within about 15 minutes. Documentation is very good, and the process worked flawlessly. The app is simple and intuitive, with a lot of options and information. I have it installed in my mailbox 180 ft from the hub in my house. The signal is "strong", and the notification of the mailbox door being opened happens consistently and right away. All of this is much better than the Ring mailbox sensor I've had for a couple of years that has always been weak and flaky. I'll update if anything changes with more use, but so far so good.Update: FYI, the device is only rated down to 32 deg. Last night it got down to 30 in my location and it went offline. When the temp went up it came back online. I ended up returning this model and getting the outdoor version which is rated for much lower temps. It's working fine, is small enough to easily fit in the back of my mailbox, and I'm getting a stronger signal strength as well.

Long range detection. Amazing
I bought this several months ago hoping I could use it as a mail delivery signal. I placed the motion sensor in the bottom rear of my locking mailbox. This sensor activates from inside a metal box 175ft. to the receiver hub inside the house. It works in the coldest temps and hasn't needed a battery change. It's been extremely reliable. When mail is dropped into the bottom I get a signal on my phone from the App. No matter where I am I get a notice. No more guessing or wasted trips to the mailbox to see if mail has been delivered. Great product.
