Summer of 23 was a struggle with my swimming pool, it went Teal colour with Algae, I put the correct dosage of shock in and less than 24 hours later, it was gone.So works a treat

Good value for money

Tried for two days to get a handful to dissolve before adding to pool. Would not dissolve, even in very hot water, stirred round well. Just sits on the bottom of the pool, and would bleach the liner if I had not vacuumed it out. Very disappointing. There was no way I could use this as shock treatment, it dissolves at a similar rate to the blocks in my chlorinator.

Tried to dissolve as per previous pool shock in 28 degree pool water… it would not dissolve. Tried added half a bucket of hot water from the kitchen tap… it still would not dissolve. Tried a third full bucket of 70 degree water and that would not dissolve either. This is really bad quality. I guess it’s the cheapest on Amazon for this reason. I wish I could get a full refund.
