THE BARE BONES REVIEW
This item arrived quickly and in good condition via Amazon Prime. First off, yes, this is the model that holds 30-30 ammunition. It's one of the few calibers I couldn't find listed on the product page, but this is the model for it. The box was much larger than I had anticipated, but it is very sturdy. With 100 rounds inside, it holds the weight and they stack very well. The top portion of the lid is translucent, the sides of the lid and the rest of the case is thicker and opaque. The box locks very firmly and since the lid is now designed to lay back completely, you no longer have to worry about getting your knuckles scraped when reaching for ammo. The box has proven to be very wear resistant, and none of the ammunition stored in this case has shown any signs of age or oxidation. This is a superior product. It has proven itself to be incredibly tough, reliable and functional. Those looking for a safe and clean method for ammunition transportation and storage could hardly be better served than by investing in these MTM ammo boxes. They are without question, the gold standard of their product type.

work great and durable
These work great, are reasonably priced, and don't waste much storage space. I throw them in my backpack for competitions, and haven't had one break yet. I also haven't had a latch pop open and spill out the cartridges.
