This oil is a petroleum product, it is 98% mineral oil. I would not use it on my organic garden.

No it’s an agricultural spray. Will wash off. Why don’t you try aluwax. It’s a thin wax in a spray can to protect aluminum , like hurricane shutters. It should work for brass. Home Depot sells it

Difference between parafine and neem oil

Hello! Both our Southern Ag Parafine and Neem Oil work essentially the same way. However, the Neem Oil comes from a tree grown in India and is generally considered to work better.

I have recurring problems with white dust like stuff on my sago palms. Will this help?

more than likely you have sago palm scales. You would use this in addition to safari 20sg insecticide which i have listed on amazon marketplace too. safari is a systemic insecticide that will control the palm scales for a longer period. parafine is going to help with smothering the adults and eggs. but not control residually like safari.

Effective for Scale - Ficus benjamina

This is a refined mineral oil that is easy to mix and apply. I like using Southern Ag products.Has been effective for treating scale whereas the Southern Ag Neem not so much. It also does a good job of cleaning sticky, dirty foliage.

Pleased

A good item at a great price. My peach trees love it and it hasn't damaged my tree in any way. Just make sure to pay attention at the little size. I knew what I was order and I knew what to expect but the bottle looks a lot larger in the photo vs in person. The instruction book on the back gives a very detailed list of mixing ratio for many different plants and trees.

Followed instructions, worked well

I used this on my king sagol palms that had scale insects that appeared to be a white coating on stems and fronds, also had mealy bugs on fronds. Killed them all. Used it a second time 2 weeks later to be sure and its been 2 months since and palms are beginning to grow healthy and thrive now.

Effective, not dangerous to humans.

Easy to mix and apply. Doesn't smell bad. Doesn't leave chemical poison to hurt all other creatures. Just smothers the bugs you spray it on. For me, that's mealy bugs & aphids mostly.
