Low power usage, powerful
Keeps my shipping container cool and since it's 30+ feet away, noise isn't a problem.UPDATE:!0July 2023 I awoke and turned it on, about 10 minutes later I heard it stop running. Immediately got online and initiated replacement process. One is on the way, should be here by Saturday.I am a wheelchair user and live off-grid in the desert. Town is 70 miles away.. so I had to wait until yesterday to get someone to take it down for me. I checked it out and nothing is wrong with it visibly. Glad I did not wait to get another sent. Been over 110F here for the better part of 4 weeks.I am expected to return the old one by Monday(7 days) or be charged for the replacement. I have to wait for the new one to get here so I can use it's box to send it back. UPS stopped by yesterday to pick it up and had the sticker to ship it back at their cost. I hope it gets here tomorrow so I CAN send it back before Monday and not have it charged to my bank account...there is NOT enough to cover it, it would be the first time in my almost 60 years for being overdrawn. THAT would make me angry. I will update when the replacement arrives.Note that I am WELL PLEASED with it's performance/cost. That is why I asked to replace it instead of a refund. It is a well built fan, I am assuming it's a one-off anomaly that caused it to fail.Update 13 July 2023 It was delivered yesterday, got it installed today and it is rnning fine. Used the box it came in to box it up fo the return. Hoping to get ups to come by or I will have to drive 140 miles round trip into town to get it to ups for return.Awesome service by this company. BUT the price is already increased to 68 dollars today, 59 yesterday when I bought it it was 58 and change.25July2023 Update:12in Ehaust Fan working great still. Pretty much on around the clock since it is summer in the desert. Notified by Amazon today, that they received the faulty fan that I returned. Had to drive 140miles round trip to do that. UPS came the next day after I set up a return and replacement fan, as they were supposed to do. HOWEVER, since it is 70+ miles to the nearest town and I needed the box the replacement was going to arrive in, to ship it back, no could do. Called ups to arrange pick up when I had it ready, was going to be 25 smackers. So, I loaded up the truck and went to Beverly......Hills that is, swimmin' p00ls, movie stars.I still highly recommend this 12 inch exhaust fan. It moves a LOYT of air, fast. makes my 100+ F container, bearable. So much so, that I did not and ain't gonna install my air conditioner this year. WEEEE doggies!

Good Greenhouse Fan
This fan was easy to install, and functions as advertised. The design made installation easy with a large mounting edge. The temperature control works great, and the fan is powerful enough to quickly cool our 128 sq ft greenhouse. It has dropped the temperature by over 20 degrees. Make sure to secure all sides of the fan or it will vibrate. The louvers work as they should. The main power cord is too short, and you will need to extend the cord length so you can attach the temperature control box to a stud. Also, it only comes with one cord strain relief, so you will need a second one of those.

Works Great, Wires Too Short
I would have liked to give this 3 1/2 stars and here's why. Fan was easy to mount, works great. Although I received this with the Variable Speed adjustment knob, there was NO reason for me to install it. No reason why I would want it to slow down. This exhaust fan was Mainly for COOLING, NO HEAT. Two Big reasons why I gave this 3 1/2 stars. Couldn't get to the WIRES! The small junction box mounted on the right side of the motor where nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get to.FIRST PROBLEM: First taking one look at it, Oh, there's two small screws on the cover. Screws were IMPOSSIBLE to loosen. I nearly stripped both Phillips screws. I purchased VAMPLIERS 6.25" Stripped Screw Extractor Pliers a few weeks ago and thank God I did! I was able to rotate the one screw enough to unscrew it. The other wasn't able to budge! I tried to pop the knockouts but they wouldn't budge either! So I BENT the junction box cover side I removed the screw and was able to pull the wires out. I was able to BEND the knockout tab and get to the wires. See PhotoSECOND PROBLEM: The Neutral wire was HALF AS LONG AS THE OTHER TWO!. I had to do a long search on Amazon to find a very small J. Box. Still waiting for it to get here, not sure if it will work. If not I may have to wrap the whole mess in Electrical Tape. See Photo. UPDATE: I found a small in-line extension cord cover/junction box at Home Depot, which worked perfectly. The fan has been working flawlessly. Beware of the J-Box attached to the motor!

Going strong for two years.
Great exhaust fan. Installed it high up in my garage and it does a great job if sucking out the heat sitting up there along with smoke and fumes. I only turn it on when needed. I did install a rheostat to control the speed, lower it a bit in winter so it doesn't suck out all the heat, but it buzzes quite a bit when not running full speed. Other than that it moves a lot of air and I'd definitely recommend.

Easy install, works great, great customer support.
Great fan, great product. Super easy to install. I have 16 foot side walls in my metal garage and with this fan mounted up high it sucks out the upper hot air fast. I have the thermostat control, just set it and let it do it's thing. Customer service is also top notch, couldn't ask for better.
