Greek Halva Organic With Honey 250g (8.8 oz)

The halwa was different and yummy, not too sweet, and the flavor was unique as I had it for the first time, and I liked it. liked it.

Yumtastic! It tastes so peanutty. I’ve bought this one twice because this one is my go-to as a sweet treat when I have that “sweet tooth” so to speak. I just dig into with a spoon. No one else in my home eats it because they don’t like the texture of Halva but I love it. Just a couple spoonfuls this yummy goodness is just enough to give me that sweet fix I’m looking for and I cover it with the foil again, shove back into its box but I also put it into a gallon sized bag and wrap it tightly and stick it into the fridge. When I first received it, it was a bit oily because it was hot out and the oils had pooled around the Halva. So know it will do that if it gets warm. It will soak it back up once it cooled back off or placed in the fridge. Don’t pour off the oils or it will make it super dry and it’s already a little dry as Halva should be. Stay away from the cocoa flavored one as it is absolutely disgusting. It’s super stringy. I took one bite of that one and immediately tossed it. The taste was fine but I couldn’t get past the texture. I should’ve listened to the reviews on that one by this same company but I bought it just to try and that was a waste of money. I’ll stick with this one. If you like peanut butter this you’ll love. It has hint of a peanut butter flavor in every bite. Not too much that it’s overbearing but it’s perfect. Just thinking about it makes me want to go eats some right now. lol Welp, no need in just thinking about it. Let me go grab my spoon and Halva.

This Halva is one of the few that does not contain citric acid, an ingredient made from black mould (aspergillus niger) this ingredient can cause gastrointestinal distress and/or headaches or migraines. This halva is delicious! Has great texture!

Product was well wrapped, fast shipping. Sweet taste but a little different from what I remember tasting as a child. The bar is very firm, need a knife to cut it into smaller pieces. Overall, not quite as wonderful as I remember from my childhood, but still good. Would reorder again, but not too often.

this was a good old fashioned halva like I used to enjoy 50 years ago. Hadn't had any in years and it was so good I finished it same day I just couldn't put it down. And as a diabetic I was fearing the worst but my glucose stayed almost unaffected somehow. Cons: too small.

Product arrived with the color being dark yellow and the taste seems like it was cooked too long. very crumbly. I have had this produce before which was creamy pale tan color. disappointed with this one

Very tasty but very dry. I wish there was an "eat by" date printed on the box. I am convinced that this product is old stock.
