I have to say, this hummus is totally worth all of the 5 star reviews! The flavor is completely balanced and delicious - I’ve used it in several recipes, and it has never disappointed. I appreciate the small size jars, as I flip them upside down before opening to get the oil at the bottom in the jar to make stirring easier. Not necessary in this case - the hummus stirs easily and is silky smooth, whether I flip the jar or not. I will also mention neither of my jars showed any signs of leakage during shipping, or once they were placed on a shelf in the pantry.

Even though the Amazon shipment had leaked, I took the chance and requested a replacement from Soom — I had simply heard too many good things about this tahini not to try it. In the blink of an eye it arrived, in pristine condition. Soom had asked for the lot # of the leaked product, so perhaps the challenge was with a particular lot.This tahini is amazingly creamy, pourable and delicious — just waiting to be made into hummus or any number of other delicacies in my recipe file. Another brand I tried was separated and hard to mix to a good consistency. This is a smooth Tahini from the start. It needed a little mixing but not much. This is the third container I have purchased. It has been the same each time. I use it for hummus but also made a dressing. I also find it delicious straight from the jar.

When I lived in Houston this was easy to find. I now live on a lake in a rural area and the local markets don’t carry it. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon! Best tahini ever!!!!! I’ve been using it for years. The low price for 2 jars was an added bonus!

Great taste, creamy. Been buying another brand for years but now I'm sticking with Soom@
