I have thinning, fine hair with no volume. I do not use the conditioner, but LOVE this shampoo! It doesn't take a lot to lather good. It has a nice smell which is not strong and does not dry out or make my hair too oily. It has so much more body and shine with different shades that come through. I use color to cover my gray hair and this makes the color last way longer, which helps keep my hair healthier! Very satisfied and will continue to buy. I have never had a problem with shipping, product always arrives without any damage.

I loved using the shampoo back in the early 2000s. I was so excited to see that they still sold it because I missed the smell of the original one. I haven’t used it yet, but I did open it to see if it smelled the same and it seemed to smell different than the one in the early 2000 this shampoo always left my hair smelling and feeling wonderful. I don’t know that it did anything for the brown color, but I always loved the way that it lathered up when I used it. I will probably buy even more.

I love JF products. The blonde works really well. With the Brunette, it's ok but doesn't seem to be keeping my hair as a brown color that I want for it to be.

When I asked my hairstylist if I should start dyeing my hair, she recommended using this shampoo instead. That was 15 years ago. Now I color my hair every 3 or 4 months, and use this shampoo and conditioner to keep the color vibrant between coloring. My hair is fine, so I use the conditioner only sparingly. I also alternate this shampoo with a generic brand sometimes, and the color enhancing still lasts (I wash my hair 3x a week). The fragrance is good, not overpowering. Using this shampoo makes me feel good about myself! I'm a brunette...this shampoo brings out the brilliance, the best in my natural color, keeping that drab brown color at bay. It seems to match perfectly my brown eyes too, so there's an additional perk! Thanks John Frieda for a great product.
