I bought two of these several months ago when we purchased our new phones. My husband who speaks loudly because of hearing loss, has no problem with being heard. I, on the other hand, had problem with being heard and, finally, took the case off and checked it out. My phone’s microphone has 12 holes-6 on both sides of the charger port but the case only has the 3 holes on one side of the charger port. After I removed it, people have no problem hearing me.

Purchased this phone case for my husband. He put it on his phone as soon as it was delivered! He is very happy with this product.

This is a great case but it is a little hard to open the cord charging area. I have been using a cord free charger more often.

Works great. Not sure on how water proof. I use it for protection when it is in my pocket. I work outside in the elements.

This is a great device for the money as it's still pretty snappy and fast and it works with my T-Mobile SIM just fine but be prepared to charge your phone a lot. It was to the point where I had to switch back to my Android but hey, I bought one just to test out an Amazon Renewed phone and I had a good experience as it came in great condition. If you want an iPhone on the cheap, then this is the place to get it but always have a charger handy.

Followed instructions to the letter and case leaked with a momentary dunking. Fortunately, the phone just got a little wet and not ruined. If it had been in the water any longer, it would have completely flooded the case. Nice case but not waterproof.
