Insightful and Beautiful
I have been a avid watcher of Dan and Phil since I was 14 (I am 20 now), and dans way of writing really pulled me in, and it was very educational and correct according me as a reader who has been through depression.

It's great book
I've been watching Dan and Phil since i was 11, Dan has helped me feel comfortable being mentally ill and made me feel less alone. This book was a great read, i loved it to peices. However amazon shipped it super poorly so it arrived damaged. Be careful purchasing this you wont be getting it in brand new condition as they just threw my book in a box with no bubble wrap just a small cardboard box.

Made for people struggle by a person who’s struggled.
I love the genuine mental health tips mixed in with quirky bits of dark humor and personal stories. It is simply a mental health book written by someone who deals with mental health struggles. It doesn’t have all the nonsense of all the “self help” books made by people trying to make a quick buck. This book is personal and real.

Excellent Beginner's Level Self-Help Guide for Mental Health
Daniel Howell has a diagnosis of depression, and has spent time in therapy learning how to cope with his symptoms. In this book, Howell shares personal stories that are both humorous and sad to help illustrate the concepts that he has learned. Written along with a qualified and licensed psychologist, this beginning level self-help book is broken down into three parts: this night, tomorrow, and the days after. it is easy to flip to the sections that apply to you at the moment you need them. In the newer paperback and audio releases, there are additional chapters and guided exercises for relaxation and cognitive thinking. Daniel was very vulnerable in this book, and by sharing personal experiences with depression, the reader feels less isolated in their diagnosis and their symptoms. I personally listened to the audiobook edition and found his voice to be quite grounding and soothing. I do recommend this book to anyone who would like to learn about what mental health is, and to those who would like an introduction to self-help with their depression or anxiety diagnosis. Those with longer histories of these illnesses may already know many of these concepts, but reinforcement of learning is never a bad idea! Five stars.

I usually find self-help books quite unhelpful because they seem to highlight all your ‘mistakes’ without providing any ways to cope. This book is anything but that. YWGTTN is a practical guide that provides clear, concise and scientifically proven methods of dealing with the difficult moments, the ‘bad days’, of life. Apart from being extremely helpful, it’s a really enjoyable read courtesy of the relatable and humorous author!

Es importante notar que el libro está en inglés. El libro es muy bueno para conocer lo básico sobre cuidar nuestra salud mental, contiene ejercicios sencillos que se pueden implementar en nuestro día a día o en momentos de crisis. El libro está narrado muy a la manera de Dan (el autor), por lo que si no lo conocen valdría la pena echarse una vuelta por su canal de YouTube para conocer el estilo (además de que en varias ocasiones hace referencia a videos de su canal).
