I love the way it closes. Many plates of steel that slide together smoothly. Works well.

These are a must have if you are building a hidden door.

Difficult to set up and definitely need the accompanying jig. But when installed correctly they look amazing

Soss hinges are always a pain to install but great finished product for invisible hinges

Great hinges - I keep showing them to everyone that comes over because I like them so much. The jig (purchase separately) really helps if you want to install these cleanly (it's simple to use if you have the proper templet bushing)

Much larger and heavier than I expected. A single hinge weighs two pounds! Height is 4-5/8”, width is 1-5/32”, thickness of mounting plate is 3/8”, depth past mounting plate is 1-1/4”, (overall depth is 1-5/8”), gap between hinges when opened to 180 degrees is 7/8”.Seems very sturdy, opens and closes smoothly, but I have no need for a hinge this big anywhere in my house.

These hinges worked great for my hidden bookcase door.
