Average
Good basic information but only the basic help in changing behavior. I'd like more exercises and advice about compulsive shopping.

Nice and Simple
This is a nice short book on the subject. It seems to hit all of the important things related to shopping addiction such as what causes it and what to do about it. I have gone through and am still going through shopping addiction. I have used some of the strategies in this book and they do work. It does get easier to control your addiction over time. I still fall off the wagon once in a while but I get back up, brush myself off and get back in the groove. I give myself a pat on the back every time I resist the urge to buy something that is not planned for. It's a great feeling. Very good short book on the subject. It's not filled with technical terms that are difficult to understand: in other words it's written in plain English. Would recommend to anyone who thinks that they might have a problem but don't know what to do about it.

This is basically toilet paper
If I could leave no stars I would. There is literally nothing helpful in this book. AI could have written something much more helpful. Full of almost blank pages and literally no useful information. Sadly I spent money on a useless book about unwisely spending money. It’s going in the trash.

A speed course
This is a very brief document that starts the conversation about shopping addition. But it went so fast and did not provide depth to any of the key aspects to the addiction or to the recovery. You will have to do additional research to understand this psychological ailment. Also, if you are planning to address this in therapy, there will likely be a lot of work to do. And many times you’ll be wrestling with your drive to spend versus your goals to beat this. This book does not give a realistic view of this process. Actually, at one point the author refers to not crying over spilt milk.

quick helpful book
The book opens the door to what may very well be triggering you. Toward the end it dives into some tips. A focus on the journey and long game is helpful
