Absolutely Brilliant! But not for residential premises!
Nothing to dislike whatsoever. This is my second one,but had the first one for 11years then it just stopped working, but for the price £10 per year, and this one could last longer? These are not for residential premises, you couldn't have it going off in a street with houses, or in a culdesac it would wake the whole street up! Very loud indeed!

God this thing is loud
This siren is the absolute dogs, I fitted it to my alarm system and unfortunately had a couple of teething false alarms due to my cats. All I can say is it does its job, my alarm was the subject of a local Facebook group of people asking if AWE was testing an alarm! So beware, it's going to upset the neighborhood, at least I know people will take notice if my house or van is broken into.

Very loud
Easy to fit and very loud. If it starts to blare run for cover you can hear it all thr way down the road.

Way too expensive
As it turns out this is just a cheap brush motor in a plastic housing. The "electronics" are 2 diodes and a relay, which are probably unnecessary 90% of the time. It must have cost at least £5 to make. I bought it I modified it and I'm stuck with it. Oh and on the box it says 120dB which is probably more accurate.

Very effective
VERY loud and effective. A few seconds in a room with it going is intolerable, as it should be.

Defective - note seller’s refusal to compensate.
Did not work . Had to be returned . In dispute with the seller ( Codiac) who refuses to compensate for abortive costs of installer who found it to be defective when installing - notwithstanding that compensation payable under Consumer Rights Act .
