One of my top 5 favorites!
I use this on so many of my pottery pieces because it is just magic. Sometimes it looks like falling snow, and other times, it looks like beautiful oil spots. It’s also gorgeous as a semi-opaque glaze on its own as shown in the white vase photo. That vase had 3 coats over b mix with specks. Gorgeous! The other photo of the sponge holder had 2x mayco’s riptide and then 2x snow over b mix clay. Cone 5.

Best Snow
Snow is an awesome glaze - especially applied over the top of darker glazes. It is fairly opaque, so don’t expect details to show beneath it.

Good Product
This Celadon glaze breaks over texture so I like the way it looks on dark clay. The results give definite handmade vibes (if the application isn't perfectly even) so if that's what you're going for this is a great option. There aren't any pottery supplies shops within an hour of my home so I have to order my glazes online. Blick also sells glazes on their website, and I usually order from there if my order is large enough and I don't need it in a hurry. But, sometimes the quick shipping wins out like it did this time. It showed up at my doorstep sealed and in good condition.

Great for an oil spot effect
This works so well when layering it over the other celadons like Jade or Rainforest. Takes 3 thick coats of each but it’s so pretty. These marg glasses are Laguna 50 clay in case it helps to know. It didn’t pinhole or shiver at all even on the very speckled clay. Very stable

It’s really not that opaque
I was looking for a white Celedon that would not obscure black underglaze transfers. This is a nice white but it made the transfers come out blurry and gray. If you are looking for something that really lets underglaze transfers show thru, you better stick to clear.

Perfect.
Excellent. I was worried about buying online but it was just the same as in stores.
