I have been buying these for years for my Amazon pitcher. Let me tell you, the quality of this compared to name brand is great. The water tastes great. It is clear and with no signs of any color change. I have yet to try this with water that needs extra filtering, but it filters tap water pretty great. These filters usually last me about 2 months for a household of 2. It is super easy to install into the Amazon pitcher, and resetting the tracker is the best part. I think it takes a bit of time to filter out the water, but I'll take it because it has to go through different layers within the filter. The size is also comparable to that of a name brand. Nothing to be jealous of a name brand. I recommend giving these and the pitcher a shot if you are looking for something that is reasonably priced with great quality.

I bought this filtering water pitcher as an experiment, primarily because the Brita Water Filtering Pitcher I already had was not big enough, but much worse, the lid does not entirely close off the water from the surrounding environment. Case in point, we brought home fruit that ended up being infested with small fruit flies, and the fruit flies would enter the Brita Water Pitcher through the exposed pouring spout. I would then have to always have a sheet of cling-wrap on top of the water filter to keep small flies, gnats and dust out of it. This became a pain. Then I discovered this Amazon Water Pitcher, with a lid that keeps it entirely closed except when you are pouring out of it to allow the water to exit! No more fruit flies, gnats and dust getting into our filtered water!!! Even better, it's much larger and the water tastes great at a cheaper price than Brita. My only issue was that the filter monitor on the top was not entirely intuitive as far as using it. I just couldn't get it to work, until I read the manual online (no hardcopy manual provided with the pitcher itself) and realized the monitor was resetting properly but I was reading it wrong. In other filtering water pitchers, the monitor would indicate zero bars when the filter was new, and four bars when it needed to be changed. This monitor works in the opposite way, in that four bars means the filter is new, and 0 bars when it needed to be changed.

I bought this pitcher because I ruined a couple of humidifiers using non-filtered water. I now have used my newest humidifier for about a year using water filtered using this pitcher. No buildup! Makes me think I should filter all the water I drink and all my pets' water too.

The pitcher is solid and durable. The size is perfect for my fridge. It came with one filter and a pitcher cover that indicates when the filter needs to be changed. It's really easy to use: just drop the filter into the top, fill the pitcher with water, and the water will filter through. As you drink the water, it gets low, so you'll have to refill it from time to time. It filters faster than a Pur water filter but will take a couple minutes . My only issue is refill process. Unlike the Brita pitcher, you have to take the whole lid off it refill with water. Overall, a good option for the price.

Changed from the filter that came with the unit a few days ago and it fits snugly even though it's off brand. It filters quickly conflicting with other comments, although that may be cause it's new. Taste and water clarity seems fine. Will try to add to comment when this one is due to change but so far it seems to be good.

I bought Costco's water purifier picture. Now they no longer sell the filters. Dumb! So I found these on Amazon. They work perfectly. Thanks Amazon you saved the day again.

Everything about it is prefect ! I love it been wasting money all these years on bottled water now I don’t have to buy anymore, the filtered water actually taste better than the bottle water . Don’t walk but run it’s worth the buy

For cold filtered water this is the choice. The pitcher is solid and durable. It included one filter and pitcher cover which indicates when filter needs to be changed. Very easy to use, I only needed to drop the filter in the top and fill it with water and it will filter through. You will have to repeatedly fill with water as you use it and it gets low. It does take a little time for the water to go through, and it has a fill line. Works good.
