The product was used to replace a fob that was both worn and damaged (external only). The video found in Amazon’s ad provided the only instructions as the product was delivered in a clear bag to save packaging with the rest of my order. It was easy to convert over and works well. The dealership offered to order a new fob for a few hundred dollars to replace and glad that I went this route as the internal parts were fin, but just needed a new cover.

Except for the Cadillac logo it was an exact match. Works great and looks great.It is identical to the oem fob. So much so that I used the back of the old case so I could keep the logo. It fit perfectly. I hope I don't need to, but I would buy this again, definitely.

Love it. Cheap price. Everything works out perfectly. Saved a whole lot of money. Easy to replace the OE worn out front portion of the case. still keeping the back side with OE Cadillac emblem intact. Now, the key fob looks brand new.

It took me 5 times through the steps for the new FOB to work, but the steps are really simple. The subject video is great. I have a 2004 4runner SR5, and the video is with a 2006 4runner, so that made the video fit well for me, and I can only speak of my experience on this one application, but I assume it will be appropriate for all models stated in listing. Upon opening the package I was initially a bit dismayed, as it came with absolutely no instructions for programming, so I came back to the listing to see if I had missed something, and found the well made, short programming video. You may want to find and watch it before you order. I made a step by step note card from the video instructions that I will include here to take with me in the car that may help you as it did me. That actually took the longest time of the whole procedure. All steps worked for me on each try, clicks and all, except it would not work. But as the guy in the video said, be patient, and keep trying. It only takes about a minute to go through the steps! For about $13 total with California tax, and it even included the battery installed (who knows how good of one, but working upon delivery), it sure beats the $120 before tax and battery that Toyota wanted, and just a few dollars more than just a FOB casing without a battery and chip here on Amazon. It is great for the kids to have just a FOB so they can get in and out of the car on camping trips without giving them yours with the keys to possibly misplace, and I love having extras (I'm going to get at least one more for this price!)

Be careful to remove all the inner parts to include a very fine micro plastic piece that has tiny rubber like legs on it. BEFORE you remove the mechanism see how the silicone piece fits. The only difference which is not mentioned is that the back side does not have the Cadillac logo.

This remote paired and works perfectly with my 2003 4Runner. As shared by user @bsstephen, the attached photo instructions worked like a charm.

Arrived quickly and was anxious to use. Tried to program using instructional video link provided. Would not work. Tested the battery inside and found it to be dead. Put in a new battery and was confident it would work. Would not work. Tried various methods using videos available on internet. Would not work. Finally had to get a locksmith to try it. He found there was no transponder inside! Had to purchase another fob, this time from locksmith and he had the new one working in less than 30 minutes. Lesson learned.

Fits as original, no logo.
