Avervision F50 Camera

Works perfect for my math class.

I am a high school Calculus teacher, and our school purchased these cameras for use in the classroom. I used this camera to videotape my lessons for a year and upload them to YouTube. The camera is very easy to set up, and recording is a snap! I purchased an SD card to use for my recording, but had to also purchase editing software. I also use this camera when I travel and present workshops - it is VERY portable and easy to set up. The picture is extremely clear. This document camera is well worth the purchase price!!

I bought the F50 this summer so I could experiment with it before using it in my classroom. One of the things I like the most about the F50 is that you can do so much without a computer. You can take hi-resolution snapshots, time lapse photography, annotate images, and even record video and save it to an SD card or a USB flash drive --all without hooking up to a computer. The images are clear and detailed (5 megapixels). The 8x optical zoom is fantastic. I used it to zoom in on an old coin to reveal detail. You can control the F50 with the included remote control. It has a lot of buttons but they are well organized. The 5-year warranty is the best I've ever heard of. I absolutely love the F50 and will probably be using it every day in my classroom.
