Bought this flag to replace another pole that had plastic collars to mount the flag to. Needless to say the plastic collars for keeping the flag from tangling do not hold up over the seasons of wind, and cycles of extreme heat and freezing temps. This flag instead uses aluminum collars with high-quality bearings to attach the flag to. The difference is immediately apparent. I can tell that these collars and bearings will last for years. And the flagpole feels as solid as if it were a single piece of steel, after you screw it together. Very solid with a very high-quality coat of paint if you opt to get it in black. Completely satisfied!

I have had a few of these 1" diameter flag poles and they never are always so cheaply made. NOT this one, the metal pole is thicker and the best part is the ring swivels are aluminum and have ACTUAL BEARINGS in them. Most on amazon are plastic which get trashed quickly, the aluminum ones last a bit longer but with no bearings they last maybe a year if you are lucky. I expect that this one will last much longer and tangle a lot less with it having the bearings in it. If it doesn't I will update this review

After having several aluminum flag poles fail I bought this stainless steel pole. I wasn't crazy about the fact there are 5 sections that needed to be threaded together, but I understand it lowers the shipping costs. After putting all 5 sections together for the full 6 foot length I was pleased to see that it was completely straight. It also appeared to be strong enough to hold up to the brutal wind we often get in Delaware. I drilled the end for a pin to hold it to my mount because friction bolts loosen. Drilling into the stainless steel was quite a chore because it's so strong. I held back one star because I don't know how well this pole will stand up over time. 6 months from now if there hasn't been any rust or failures then I'll update this review to 5-stars. For stainless steel I thought the price was fair and reasonable.

Love this product, all stainless and works great , that is part of a set. All of the set is stainless and Aluminum with bearings that should last for years. It actually came separate from the Stainless steel bracket but was part of the kit. Save your self a headache from Homedepot and Lowes buy this and dont look back,

less than three months after putting up the pole the bearings have started to rust and don’t spin freely

This is an excellent flagpole. It's made of shiny stainless steel. The segments screw together securely and rigidly. It can be assembled as a 5 ft or 6 ft length. The 6 ft length is best for a 3X5 ft. flag, but the 5 ft. length will work with a 3X5 flag or smaller. The anti-wrap spools are excellent and easily adjustable for any flag size. . The mounting bracket is sturdy; however, I recommend using a little heavied and longer mounting screws. The assembly instruction is clear and easy to follow Since I put it up there have been two thunderstorms with heavy rain and wind and the flagpole held solid.

This pole comes in sections that screw into each other to make a 6’ or 5’ Pole. I don’t like plastics that are always in the sun. They are doomed, but this stainless pole is beautiful and very sturdy. It came with the best swivels I’ve seen. The pole, swivels and carabiners are all top quality. It’s easy to switch flags, if you so desire. I also added a solar powered light to the top of the pole for night time. It’s all working great. Old Glory 🇺🇸 should never hang in the dark. Remember, when your flag is faded and torn, dispose of it properly. Your local Boy Scout Troop may do Flag Burning Ceremonies, or the VFW. Thanks for Flying our Flag.
