Made installation quick and simple.

Needed to install some sort of quick air conditioning system but I don’t have a window for a window unit. Used this vent to route the exhaust from my portable ac outside, worked like a charm!

One of the tabs that retain the vent flaps on the exterior vent side arrived broken. Not sure how to find a replacement, and I was half way done with the installation before noticing.

This made it very easy to vent my portable AC in my workshop. Everything came together for a professional installation.

Worked well for my ~8"-thick concrete block wall, replaced the old metal filthy and bent one. Pulled to old inserts and used used Tapcon screws to secure both sides.Outside cap/director didn't want to stay on after I removed to to work with the installation, so I used RTV to add a bit of security. I was using it to add sealant to the tube/block joint anyway (the house was built in '88) so no big deal.

I bought this because I needed a vent for a 8” outside wall and I like the interior wall plate.What I don’t like is that it’s not a good quality plastic for the price. The exterior vent snaps off and on by 4 small dimples that is not hard to undo which makes me feel that it can come off accidentally.The piping is a two piece sleeve which is nice but going back to the quality of plastic it can crack easily. Overall not a bad product and can be a perfect fix for larger outside walls but I don’t think it’s worth the price.

The vent functions fine. Install Isn’t very easy unless you have an existing hole to plug this into.

This product takes some time to install depending upon your specific application but if done with care it results in a nice clean installation.
