These foot switches have been on every pipe threader I've used for 47 years in the trades. I have yet to see one fail or destroyed. Only CON is it should have two (2) 1/2" threaded hubs for wiring. With only one and wanting 2 cords, one as power in the other power out it leaves a gap for dirt and debris to enter the enclosure. I want to be able to use cord grip connectors to seal better the enclosure. I use this on multiple saws, routers planner, so I can have 2 hands on the work. Cheap strudy safety value for the money.

Confirmed what you have before ordering

This foot switch looks to be much more durable than the original that I installed on my electric wood splitter. The first one was about half the cost but did not hold up. I have installed this one and tried it out but it has not had much use. I had a career as an electrician and just from experience I know this unit will hold up much better than the first one I tried.

Work perfectly. Just as good as the OEM. I wish it come with a cable gland which make the installation much smoother.
