Outstanding shower head. Very easy to install. It has great pressure as it's not limited to 1.8 gpm. 6 settings which means there's one for everyone. I ordered it last night at 9PM. Amazon had it here early enough for me to install it by mid afternoon. I took a nice long hot shower and tried all the settings. The spray pattern selection is great. I miss the days when this stuff was all made from actual metal instead of plastic, but that's just how it is now. This one is highly recommended for ease of install, spray options, and nice water flow.

UPDATE: One month after buying this, the toggle switch stopped working and the shower head would only change between the harshest jet setting and a sad trickle. I'm outside the 30-day Amazon return window so I called Moen Customer Support to report the problem. Customer rep was very friendly and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the product is backed by a lifetime warranty and that they'll be sending me a replacement which will arrive in the next 2 weeks or so. 2nd UPDATE (8/21/19): The replacement shower head arrived as promised a few months ago. Since then, the showerhead has been working perfectly! :) No complaints here. Great customer service and highly recommend. ----------------- First off, there are 2 MAJOR perks of this shower head that I considered when I was shopping around for a handheld shower head to replace my non-handheld one: the magnetic attachment feature and the button for switching between modes. My shower pipe is already kind of high so a standard handheld shower head that would need to be lifted up and out would have been an unnecessary strain in the shower (I'm 5' 8" but I guess it wouldn't be an issue if you were 6' tall) so I thought the magnetic attachment was a nice touch. I've had the shower head for a couple weeks now and both aspects are living up to my expectations so far! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hose is a bit short and it doesn't reach the bottom of my tub. I purchased the handheld shower head mainly to make giving my dog a bath easier and the hose isn't long enough for me to rinse her underbelly but if this isn't important to you (i.e. you don't need it to wash your dog), then consider this item 5 stars for sure. It doesn't come with plumber's tape but you don't need it for the installation. Other reviewers have even said that the connections leak when plumber's tape is used. All you need to do is insert the included rubber gaskets between the screw-in connections and that's it. No leaks. As for water pressure, my building has fantastic water pressure to begin with so that wasn't a concern. However, the shower head I was replacing this with had 2.5 GPM (gallons per minute) and I loved it so I wanted to keep the output the same. Without removing the flow restrictor, this shower head puts out 2.0 GPM, but removing the flow restrictor is easy peasy as noted in other reviews and will produce 2.5 GPM with the restrictor removed. Before installing the whole thing, just take some tweezers and pull out the metal clasp inside the shower head and take out the plastic flow restrictor that has a green crosshair on it that's tucked behind the metal clasp. Leave both the metal clasp and the plastic flow restrictor out and continue with the installation. I also loved the size of the shower head itself. It's larger than the other standard ones on the market and I find that much more appealing. It's about the size of your hand (picture included for reference). I wanted the feel of a nice hotel-like shower head and I got exactly what I was looking for. :) You won't be disappointed.

Like other people, I pulled the flow restrictor out of the bottom of the handle before attaching the hose - needle nose pliers ( the tiny metal ring/ plastic cross piece). It won't spray farther but the stream is stronger. Just be aware that means more water you pay for so shut it off when soaping up, shaving etc. if you're pinching pennies. I like the button to quickly change patterns, which is great for different uses like cleaning tub, just washing hair instead of a whole shower, washing pets, etc. Hose is long enough too. I am not a fan of plastic connections, rather a nickel metal that won't rust but everything is not made to last anymore. And they wonder why so much plastic is in the environment. You all made it - duh !! The head size / patterns & magnetic part sold me on it and it works great. Just make sure the plastic lip on the section the head attached to is facing up - sort of a secondary aid to keep the head on the magnetic unit. Good magnet. I also came across a stainless cleaner/ shiner/print & rust resistant diy spray recipe a little olive oil in a sprayer of vinegar. Spray and polish off - works great, surprisingly. Would be perfect for chromed, metal bath fixtures to keep them looking new / inhibit rust & mildew. One more thing - I have an Aquasa a filter on my shower head too - helps keep gross buildup off tiny spray jets. Also good for hair and skin getting rid of chlorine, etc. as water treatment chemicals cause alot of common drying, breakage issues. No point in buying expensive soaps, conditioners if you just end up ruining it with chemical filled water.

This is, by far, the best shower head I have ever experienced in my entire life! Our old shower head had gotten so pitiful that we practically had to run around under it to get wet. I was sick and tired of having no water pressure. I soaked it in vinegar and scrubbed the holes out, to no avail. Anyway, fast forward to now, and I cannot believe the difference. The only thing I'm mad about is that I waited so long to order this one! This one is listed in Consumer Reports as a highly-rated shower head. CR listed the volume of water that it uses as a negative, but that's exactly what I wanted so it's perfect! It also has a powerful magnet that hold it up but easily detaches if desired. Has quite a few settings for the spray that are controlled easily by a single button. Highly recommend!

This shower head broke after 3 months of normal use. I loved this shower head, but then the head completely snapped off the cheap plastic piece holding it onto the pipe. I have reached out to Moen support to see if they can make this right.
