good product. i dont recommend for ex cvt model .
when i purchased this product, nobody had any reviews for the ex accord cvt. the product itself is solid quality as advertised. installation went perfectly , instructions are well written. I have the 2013 accord ex with the cvt transmission, no paddles. with a manual transmission or standard automatic, the sound of the engine with this airfilter installed would sound good. the continuous drone of the cvt is an absolute headache for performance that I don't notice. I believe the potential for a few more horsepower could be made with perhaps a computer remap for the engine and transmission. otherwise the cvt transmission just makes it a screaming dog on the road. I'm considering reverting back to the stock intake for this car. I believe this product would do well for the cvt sport model with paddle shifters or the 4 cylinder accord with manual transmission. I'm giving the product full stars because of build quality and it does what it advertises, allows more airflow.

4 year update! Careful not to dry out filter.
Update: Over 4 years later this cold air intake assembly and cone are holding up wonderfully. I definitely recommend buying the K&N recharge kit. This has kept the filter clean and oiled. Careful not to let your filter dry out. It won't keep out the small dust particles. Oil is meant to catch them.Original:I finished installing this about 30 mins ago. The instructions were easy to follow. The only addition tools it required that weren't listed was: a pair of scissors or cutting shears to cut the edge material and the narrow tube. You can definitely hear a difference when you give it a little gas from idling. I didn't notice a difference while in eco mode, which is what I was expecting/hoped for.One suggestion that the instructions didn't mention and I noticed from other people's pictures that they may have left out as well... There's a clamp that secures one of the narrow hoses to the top of the metal housing. It's left out on the instructions, but you may as well put it on there to secure the hose to the unit. If anyone finds something different, let me know.Hope this helps in your buying decision. I have to update this after some road tests.

CVT sounds like an airplane
Louder with better throttle response but just made me realize I don’t like the non traditional sound of the cvt transmission. Like a roaring airplane.

Fits on Acura TLX 4cl first gen.
The media could not be loaded. as soon as I received it i just went ahead and installed it, it only took like 30 minutes i was worried something would go wrong when i started it up but it started up with no issues. Driving it for a while i definitely noticed a really noticeable difference in my TLX and i can really feel the difference from the stock intake(with k&n stock air filter) it takes a big ass gulp of air that you can actually feel! I love this intake and i must say it is worth the price still driving on the tank I filled right after the install.

Best thing to happen to me in 2020
Installation was super easy with the right tools, took me less than 20 minutes. Car is still slow of course but feels slightly more responsive and the improvement in the sound alone is worth the money. Had it on for about 6,000 miles now with no issues, and I still get over 31 miles to the gallon when I drive reasonably. If you wanna have more fun driving your stock accord this kit is perfect.

perfect fit
exactly what you would expect from K&N. perfect fit and has everything you need to install…. except for the tools of course. gives a nice growl. not sure about fuel mileage yet. but from past experience you can expect a few miles per gallon increase. this is a lil expensive but you get what you pay for and k and n is pretty hassle free install. and other products wont come with everything you need.

Easy to install
Easy to install, took me about two hours. I also spray painted mine red using automotive paint. Not sure it increases HP, maybe 1-2 HP. Supposedly gets better MPG too. Sounds and looks good of course.
