I’m just a home baker, but this black gel food coloring made me feel like a pro. It turned my buttercream a deep, true black without that dreaded dark gray I’ve gotten from other brands and it didn’t change the taste at all.I also used it to color rice paper fans for my husband’s birthday cake. It gets blacker with time and I used too much. The kids loved their black tongues but I felt I might have poisoned them!
