Great for day 2 and 3 curly hair.
I use this product a lot. I am moderately sensitive to smells and this doesn’t trigger me. I recommend it for anyone who refreshes their natural curls. It doesn’t give my hair a weighted down feeling or build up. I have 2B to 3A curls.

Works great to reset curls.
I love this product. And anything curlsmith.I had a bad bleach job a little over a year ago. It cost me about 5.5 inches of my hair. Slowly I have cut off the to far gone damaged hair. I have a few spots here and there that aren’t 100% back to normal. They need extra help and that’s where curlsmith comes into play.I use this product anytime I can.As a leave in when my hair is wet right out of the shower. On my reset days to give my curls the extra TLC they need to pop back into place. And especially especially right after a coloring service. My two fav combinations after a color service is this product and the bond repair. My curls look amazing afterwards. The only thing I dislike is the smell isn’t my favorite. I use other products so my hair never stays smelling like it.

Great job with reviving curls
I like this product because it does the job well when you pair it with a gel. It’s decent by itself. I bought the travel size on sale for $7.50 so it’s a good price. The spray mist is lightweight and it makes my hair look shiny. The smell isn’t good to me so I can’t give this 5 stars.

Works well!
Update: I returned the old stinky one delivered and ordered a new one and it smells much better! It does have an odd smell but it doesn’t smell rancid like the old one lol. It works really well and my curls look just like wash day!

It actually works
So, having a perm, with gray hair can make it frizzy. I have found the Curlsmith works really well with that problem. I got the reactivator, just to see if it would actually do what it says it will. Surprisingly enough, it does. It also doesn't make my hair sticky. Initially putting it on, it was a bit sticky, but it dried nicely, and amped up the curl. I can't say it was completely frizz free, but it was better than it has been and I could live with it.The only issue was the smell. Perhaps it may just be my nose, or the combination of the shampoo/conditioner I used, will use a different product to figure that out, but after spraying it on, it had a weird fishy smell. Like I was spraying fish oil in my hair. The smell didn't stick around after it dried, it was only while it was wet....so no lasting effects. It was odd. Perhaps a combination of things causing it? Will experiment to see if that changes.Overall, would recommend it.

Smell is okay, sprayer sprays sideways
The smell is a little heavy, not for me. The sprayer tip sprays out in a circle of about 150 degrees around and doesn't actually spray straight onto hair. I've resorted to spraying onto Mt hands and patting it into my curls so it's hard to tell how effective it is. Water with a drop of conditioner in a spray bottle seems to work better, but then again it's actually spraying directly on my hair

Hard to rate these because hair is so subjective
The product WAS overly smelly to me. Not a bad scent, but too strong for me.It was sticky from the get-go, and the moment it was in my hair, I couldn't do ANYTHING with my hair. My hair felt like one big clump--there was no getting any comb through it--and it felt weirdly dry and overall gross (I put it in when my hair was still damp and tried to help the waves and curls along with scrunching and finger-combing--but right away, couldn't even get my fingers through it).I don't think this is a bad product--I was drawn to it specifically to the ingredients used in it and because I LOVE their conditioning shampoo. However, my hair is dense and really fine and soft. I think whatever hold-element was in this product just clumped it together and isn't the right mix of ingredients for my hair.I have type 2C-3A waves/ curls--can curl damp hair around my finger into full ringlets that used to stay without any need for extra product when I lived in a humid climate. Now that I live in a drier climate, it's been impossible to find a product that doesn't weigh down my curls--leaving my hair bushy or more frizzy than it would be without product--and then makes my hairline greasy looking by the next morning.Thank you, developers, for the work you put into your product. I'm sorry to give it a poor rating because I'm not sure it's a poor product, but for others with my hair type, it's not a product I would recommend.
