I wash it by hand .. after use then I’m ready for the next use. I’m not comfortable using the dishwasher on these expensive tools. This is my own opinion and experience . Have a Blessed day!

Q: Would this help my hyper 6y/o stop putting things in his mouth? (He puts tv remote/x box controller/chews on headphone wire when playing)

I wouldn't think so. I know we use this in feeding therapy to help "wake up" my daughters mouth. Maybe try "chewlery" look at the ARK website for things to chew on for sensory issues. You can ashtrays come back here and check to see if they have anything cheaper

Q: can i get batteries at any store? or do i always have to get them thru amazon?

Unfortunately I've had to order the batteries. I've had no luck with getting them at the store
