Q: Does this product leave a little shine/sheen on the skin?

When you first apply, yes. But it is a very light weight product and is meant to absorb into the skin. So it actually leaves more of a "dry" finish. But your skin is left feeling hydrated. If you are looking for a product that leaves a "shine/sheen", I would go for something a little heavier.

Canola oil is a natural, vegan, oil produced from canola seeds. It contains essential fatty acids making it a great skin care ingredient in this product. It has a coconut smell, a delicious smell. But it dissipates quickly. My husband comments on how good it smells soon after I apply it.

Q: Can this be used on the scalp to get rid of dandruff? I am female so not a bald scalp. If so, would you leave in or rinse off? Thanks!

Personally I use it on my skin and not on my hair, but t is a light weight formulae and would leave it on the hair. Infact it is a great light moisturizer. So unless your hair skin is very dry BUT it is non greasy and that is why I like it.
