Nothing to add, works great with my Alienware 38 Curved Gaming Monitor AW3821DW connected to my Alienware m18 R1 via Display Port to get the max 144hz @ 4K which my monitor supports. Previously I was connecting the monitor via HDMI so I was only getting 85hz but now I can enjoy the maximum FPS that this monitor supports thanks to this cable.

Works for a few days.. then dies
I have been using this cable constantly.. but the problem is that after 7 days.. It just died. And I wasn't able to return it. Luckily In internet I was able to fix this issue by connecting it to a monitor which was not on(as in no power was passing). And then it started to work

I have three 27" monitors connected to macmini and I've been trying to find an adapter that could make my 3rd monitor, Apple LED Cinema Display 27", works as it should. I have tried so many different adapters, and only this one + CABLEDECONN Mini DP to DisplayPort 8K Cable 8K Adapter finally works on connection without having Image Retention aka burn-in effect at 2560 x1440 60hz setting. I specifically install "DisplayLink USB Graphics Software for macOS5.2.6-EXE" only it can make this setup works. But there is a downside to using this setup, the color will be slightly cooler than the direct Thunderbolt connection even I use color correctors a few times and ran a couple of different dates but still won't work. So designers need to be aware but other than that I'm very happy the solution.

I was little sceptical when I ordered the cable. But now I have no regret. Its working properly and its video signal processing capability is better than hdmi or usb c cable I had. I got 4K with hdr from my legion laptop to 4K lg monitor. Build quality appears solid. Will update after using sometimes.
