What a wonderful little tea strainer. I purchased this for my morroccan mint tea blend as the tea pots were proving useless. This lovely tea strainer does the business and more. The sides fold down out of the way making it easy to tuck away out of the way and the lid that you use to help brew doubles up as a holder after taking the strainer out of the cup so no drips or having to use a separate plate etc to rest it on. I forgot to check if its stainless steel but there is no sign of wear and its easy enough to wash and store for the next time. First class for very little money. Definitely worth having one or get two so your friend that visits can share your delightful tea too. I use mine for 'The Brew Company tea' and 'The tea people' fruit teas. Its perfect and as it fits to the size of your cup/vessel if you want to do iced tea there is plenty of room to add more tea in order to make up a glass pitcher or large jar. Its worth it, Im getting more. 10/10 recommendation.

Well made, good quality steel and construction. Extremely fine mesh so no tea escapes into the cup. As good as the nylon mesh type but more robust and easier to clean.

Bought for making tea, using fresh lose tea, I have been using now for years and it is still in great condition, well made and a good gauge of stainless steel has been used, I must use at least six/eight day, very easy to use fits all my cups all sizes, and easy to clean, I rinse out during the day and then I give it a good wash at the end of the day and dry ready for the next day, it fits a large amount of loose tea what ever the size of leaves, it's one of the best small tea making items I use.

works well, the extending arms allow it to be used in my large 1.8 L teapot. The extending arms mean it will fit a variety of teapot sizes. Tea leaves/powder does not go through the holes. The lid/drip tray is handy too, and using it as a lid while the tea is brewing helps keep the tea hot. Just a shame I couldn't find something with a larger container so that it would cover the width of the opening of the teapot.

Exactly what I was looking for and the quality is brilliant. I’m using it for home made strawberry top mint tea and loose leaf tea it fits great into a mug and no leaves leak out. Could also be used for coffee. I love that the lid can be used as stand and that the handles fold for easy storage. I’m going to get another one for a gift. Definitely recommend

Good quality and looks smart. What I particularly like is that it can be rested on the rim of a large or wide cup/mug, so quite versatile.

I liked it so much I bought another one. I switched to tea leaves owing to the plastic in tea bags then the search for a tea strainer type thing began. I checked out dozens and finally settled on this one as everything looked right, and the review were good. I since bought a second for the times when I have company and I need to make 2 cups of tea, and I didn't want to have to wait until the first cup had it's few minutes to steep/brew. Design is very good, I rate it value for money, and most importantly - it does the job.
