Awesome fishing reel for the price and convenience of ordering it through Amazon. Drag works perfect for the lake or creek type fishing for bass and trout. I use 15 pound braided line on this reel. Works perfectly.

I have had name brand reels , costing twice as much ,that are not as nice as this reel. For under 20$ for a 3000 sized reel of this quality. Impossible to beat. I have mine paired with a 7' medium action spinning rod and use it for drop shots,finesse cranking ,jerk baits, Ned rigs and more finesse type technics. I have landed several bass over 3 lbs and one over 5 lbs with this reel with no problems. Cast flawlessly with 10 lb floro. I gave this thing a good work out last summer. Landing well over 50 bass with it. No hiccups whatsoever. Worked great for pan fishing as well. In this price range,you will be hard pressed to find something better.

I've used these reels for a few years for crappie fishing. They are smooth casting and good quality. The only issue I have with them is the screw that holds the handle, after a while, comes loose. I have a few of those as they have fallen off and into the water. I'd like to buy a replacement screw but cannot find them, so I get one from the hardware store. Still a great reel.

This reel is amazing for the money

For $20, it's a winner. It's smooth enough and has held up to several saltwater fishing trips. More expensive reels have more bearings and better components, but it looks good and is very functional.

I almost gave it 4 stars because in my book a 5 star is ultamite... reason for 3 star... well first it came right on time ... pkg was a little beat up and the plastic little cover on back of real feet was never put on they just threw it in the box... i can live with it...if it been 60 dollar reel id of raised cain about it....the reel is pretty nice only thing i dont like thus far is that bail rolls back when ya go to set hook... i HATE THAT... i wont own a icefishing reel that does it..ill throw in trash for that reason.... im using this to jig walleye ... so...for a extra rod i can probably live with it so i guess ill keep it....however id not buy another for that reason..I know theres been millions of fish caught on reels that roll back but ...i dont like it...you can miss fish from that....for the everyday guy ... for the price...thus far it seems to be darn nice other then the roll back...

Comparable quality to Pflueger Presidential. Great reel. I'll order another one if I need it.

The fit and finish of this reel is not that great but for cheap Chinese products that is to be expected I guess. But where it counts, it performs pretty well. It’s smooth and functioned flawlessly. Bought it for surf and jetty fishing. It was smaller than expected (probably closer to a 4000 or maybe 5000 in other brands) but it still worked for my needs. Didn’t catch anything big at all but had no problems. Will see how it holds up from the saltwater after a cleaning.
