Answer: According to Consumer Labs, the claimed amount by Organic India is 4.8mg withanolides per 1600mg. Consumer Labs testing revealed 12.1mg withanolides which includes withanosides per 1600mg serving.

To the manufacturer.... is this product an extract that has been standardized to contain 2-5% withanolides?

This is not a standardized extract. It is the entire ayurvedic root, cleaned, dried, and ground. Organic India does not sell refined extracts. They sell ayurvedic roots, herbs, and seeds. I buy the 1 pound bag of ashwagandha. It is so cheap you can afford to use a half-teaspoon measure in a single serving. It is more ashwagandha than three normal capsules contain. At that dose, it doesn't matter if it is "standardized" or not. You are drowning in ashwagandha.

Is this processed in a facility with wheat?

Works on horses

Just started using myself but have been using it for my horse (study out there on it) to reduce her sleep anxiety (got kicked in the head when laying down) seems to be helping much more mellow & less chemicals than the other products for her.

Product doesn't taste bad and seems to be good quality. It is definitely a good deal for the price.The packaging was poor though. It came in a resealable pouch, but this pouch broke at the seam on the 1st use.
