Bestop 5245335 Sunrider for Hardtop for 2007-2018 Wrangler JK 2-Door & Unlimited

The media could not be loaded. This took me a bit longer than 40 mins to install. I was able to install myself. I actually watched an install video on you tube by Bestop. Made install easier. Please follow instructions exactly. I decided to jump steps and therefore prolonged the install. The instructions also call for cutting into bar padding, however, I had removed my faded sport bar padding a couple years ago and have been running bare bars for awhile so lining up the screw holes was easy for me.Once complete, I am absolutely satisfied with this item. This definitely makes opening your Jeep top convenient. This top is like a convertible, you just unhook and pull top back. Within seconds you go from top to topless. I even did this at a red stoplight. I was also able to open the sunshade and shoot the video at the same time. Easy peasy. I had a shadeidea mesh shade installed and this would have worked in conjunction to that however, it would have been in the way of operating this sunshade effectively. The material is high quality. It doesnt appear to make much noise while driving closed, as far as rain getting in, I haven't had this for a rainfall just yet. Keep in mind, upon being a new item, the first few times of closing shade will be a little tight. But the more I'm using it, the easier it gets. The sun needs to help stretch the material. Definitely worth the price. The good thing is, you can remove this easily to re-install freedom panels if you get bored. I ordered the Black Diamond version because of all the off-roading I do.. I heard the Twill is harder to keep clean. Thank you Bestop for coming out with this fun Jeep accessory. I ordered the retractable mesh shade that goes with this sunrider and have left a review with video.. go check it out.

Works perfect. Easy to use and leaks. Best customization you can make if you live where it frequently rains. Slightly less risqué than going topless.

I don't know why I waited so long to get this upgrade. I live in a location where car break-ins are common, so a full soft top is not an option. I found this option and was a little annoyed that it cost almost as much as a full soft top, so I waited on the decision. I'm glad I finally pulled the trigger. The top panels are so big, cumbersome, and are hot to touch in the sun. I could never fit them in the back with my two large German shepherds. Now, it's an easy flip!To all those that say it's loud, it's not that much louder. Jeeps are loud vehicles because they don't have any insulation anywhere. When it's open, I've gone 80mph and it doesn't flap. The only time I've heard flapping is when there's a cross breeze when you're riding. Installation was super easy to follow, but I've done a few mods before, so I feel comfortable doing these. Took me maybe an hour with 1 person. It fits perfectly, and for me, everything lined up well. I have not washed the jeep yet, so I can't say whether or not there are any leaks - fingers crossed.One area on the passenger side door gets a little hung up on the rain rail, and the fabric bunches a bit when I close the top, but I just manually straighten it out. Not a big deal.Overall, great product. Wish it was a little less expensive, but you get what you pay for, so I am anticipating that this lasts many years.

I installed the sunrider and it leaked over the passenger side door. I un-installed and reinstalled double checking that everything was flat and well fitting with no folds or crimps. It still leaked (4 days to dry out my jeep- Thanks Best Top) .Two days after putting in an online warranty request I followed up with a phone call since I received no email even confiming that my request was received.Both customer service gals I spoke with were polite and courteous. I was cut off from the first one.That was a week and a half ago. Since then I have been emailing back and forth with their support person, including pictures. I email one day and they email back the next. I have said I believe the piece over the door may be defective. They tell me the mucket seals should be under the door surrounds, which means nothing to me. The video shows it being placed on the hardtop and windshield frame from the top. I did that.I've compared it to the side that doesn't leak and they look exactly the same. I told them this 2 days ago. I'm getting very frustrated with the extremely slow resolution. Wouldn't the simple solution be to send out a replacement part? I have family in town over the 4th of July weekend with more rain predicted. My passenger will be drenched!I am now passed the 30 day return window (frustrating).The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If the product didn't leak, I would recommend it. Given all the time I have wasted in communication, uninstalling/reinstalling, checking this and that, taking/sending pictures, and rewashing the installation video I'd give it a ZERO!

1 hours install, easy. Excellent fit. Going on 5 weeks or so. Absolutely love it. Surprised that wife said same. Multiple rain storms, no leaks, even at highway speed during rain. Yeah, a little louder but it makes me want to open it.

The media could not be loaded. Arrived quick. Only took about an hour to put on because we had to cut holes in the fabric for the screws. So that was a little tricky but it’s on and you can’t tell we cut anything. It looks amazing!

I really like this product. It’s very easy to install and easy to use.It takes 30 seconds to lock/unlock and flip it back/forth.I live in south Mississippi where it’s hot. The interior does get hot when the jeep sits in the sun, but it cools down quickly when driving.I highly recommend the additional retractable sunscreen to go with it.

Best upgrade I’ve made to my 2015 Jeep Rubicon. Easy to install and works great. Flip two levers and boom - open air driving. It’s a little louder than the freedom panels, but not bad. Highly recommend!
