Brilliant set – perfect for young scientists!
Amazing set! I bought these for my 10-year-old to use with his digital microscope, and they’ve been fantastic. There’s a great variety of samples – animals, insects, plants, and more – all really clear and well-prepared. The slides are clean and good quality, and they kept him fascinated for hours. Excellent value and a great way to spark curiosity in kids!

Hours of entertainment
Excellent selection of slides, kept the kids 9 & 11 entertained for hours. Inspired them to look for other things to view through their microscope too.

Blue slides not as described
I specifically ordered this set, of the many similar ones out there, because the animal slides were described as containing "Daphnia, Bird Feather, Fish Gills, Fish Scale, Shrimp Antennas, Small Intestine, Earthworm, Leech, Chicken Blood, Liver, Wool, Frog Skin." This is incorrect - it's the same mix of feathers and hair as the other blue sets available. Overall, as a biologist, they're not great quality - visible bubbles, some fibres have either been strangely false-colour stained or are just not what they say they are (cat hairs are bright blue) - but for having things to look at with my 7-year-old son through his microscope, they definitely do the job and I think he'll be really pleased at Christmas, and the price through this seller was better (on Black Friday) than for identical sets sold by other sellers, so I'm not really complaining, just a little disappointed not to get a blood slide and a Daphnia!
