Cullmann50080 - Magnesit Copter Multiple Tripod

I bought this Cullmann Magnesit Copter to use with my Zhiyun Crane V2 Gimbal, which carries a heavy dslr video rig, usually made up of a Nikon D750 Full Frame DSLR, and either Sigma Art Lenses or a Nikon 16-35mm F4 lens [Which the gimbal holds great].This product literally makes the whole rig usable for me on the road, and everywhere in fact, and I actually could not imagine using the rig without it at all now. It is invaluable!Really strong in construction, lovely in the hand and really well designed and engineered, it doesn't get lose or feel like it could break at all. It enables me to balance the gimbal anywhere (literally - I've balanced it in the floorwell of a moving car, on the Golden Gate bridge - the list goes on) and also allows me, once folded up, to make much smoother movements as it extends the handle by a good 6-8 inches.The rubber feet give it good grip too. I'd have no problem leaving a heavy DSLR on it all day in the wind. Really strong, fantastic for the price. Recommended if you are looking for a heavy duty small tripod leg solution, especially for gimbals as most cannot take the weight!

This small tripod is stable, easy to use, and the rubber feet grip well. I have been using a full-size Cullmann tripod for many years and this mini-tripod is of equally high quality. I purchased it without the head as I already have a couple of ball-and-socket and QR heads. It folds up neatly and is small enough to carry in my pocket. I can see that I am also likely to use it as a handle when folded, which is how I often use my smaller monopod when it is not extended.

Just received the product, unfortunately, is not usable as one of the legs can't be opened fully, the reason is that one of the 3 screws at the top is not screwed in properly and is crooked and there is no way to reach that screw. If just one person would check the product before it was sent out this wouldn't happen.

This is ideal for those occasions when you don't want to carry a full sized tripod but need stability for the camera to produce crisp photographs. It is a robust, no frills mini tripod. it stows away quickly and into a very tight space. I recommend it highly.
