Just Right, and a Good Price
This replaced the same unit we bought 20 plus years ago. Our air conditioning guys told us we could get it cheaper on Amazon. It does the job just as its predecessor.

Wine cooler
Just like the one I purchased in 2008. One-for-one replacement. Hope this one lasts 10 years.

They don't last and manufacturer makes warranty service very difficult
I've had three of these units fail on average every four years. Most recently my two-year-old WKL 3000 blew out the controller board. The manufacturer refused to swap the board and said I would have to ship them the entire unit for service. They suggested that, considering the shipping cost, I should just buy a new controller board for $200 plus $25 shipping -- which I did. The new controller board works fine, but now they won't refund the cost despite being under warranty. So unless you want to ship your entire unit back to them at your own expense, forget about the warranty and assume it will work for around four years.Yes I'm dumb for continuing to buy Breezaire units, but it's all I can find that fits the opening we built-in to our wine cellar.

Unit failed twice in first three years - very expensive repairs
We use this unit in a wine cellar, so it needs to be dependable. It is an attractive unit and is easy to operate. However, the WKL 3000 unit has failed twice within the first three years. Initially the controller failed and needed replacement. Now the coil is leaking. In addition to the purchase price, we have over $400.00 invested in shipping and labor, not to mention the inconvenience for the time it is out of the cellar being repaired. Since the warranty is parts only, after the first year, their parts-only warranty is extremely lucrative for Breezaire. Their labor costs are substantial and they won't pay for parts unless they do the repair work. I am extremely disappointed in the unit overall. Breezaire will not even pay for return shipping after their repair of a unit that I believe is substandard.

clogged drainage caused major damage to wine cellar
I bought the refrigeration system 3 years ago and am very disappointed with the unit. I have had to service it twice in the past 3 years costing over $400 each time plus shipping cost. Also the condensation pan keeps clogging and overflowing. The overflowing water condensate flows into the support wall of the wine cellar which has destroyed the the sheetrock interior wall and the exterior siding had to be replaced. Overall the unit is needs to be redesigned so that the drainage does not clog or overflow.Do not buy this unit or any breezaire product until they fix the drain issue.

Terrible experience and cheap digital control panel that fails day 1
Worst experience ever dealing with tech support and general manager, Karl King. Even my tech and distributor said they have never been treated so rudely! Warranty does not cover if you place closed system in the wall and plug in and it doesn’t work.. only if breezaire installs it. Took 3 days , 3 service calls with tech support walking thru sensor readings until they agreed the temp controller was not working and shipped a new one, never reimbursed for labor costs on this and within less than 2 years the system started freezing up and the temp controller failed again. For warranty, you have to ship back to San Diego, pay for pack and shipping and whatever they charge to pull the face cover off and change a sensor which was $210 plus cover shipping and pack back.. then pay to have it reinstalled in the wine cellar. I will never buy from breezaire again, cheap overpriced product and terrible customer support !

I have to believe that I more than got good value for my money
We purchased our unit 15 years ago and it's starting to give us issues now. Looking for a replacement and I don't see any reason not to buy another Breezaire. They had very mixed reviews when I purchased my current unit, but so did the competition and they cost twice as much. I decided to take the risk and go for the lower priced unit. I have to believe that I more than got good value for my money. Now I just have to find the low cost provider to obtain the replacement. If the new one gives me grief I'll be sure to update this review.
