Good replacement
I have used it for several months and it is still working great. Great price too.

Easy to install
It seems these heating units seem to last about 15 months! But then we use our electric grill almost daily! Each of the replacement heating units haven't seemed to heat up as hot as the original? We adjust our grilling accordingly.

Broke after fourth use!!!!!
This product worked great the first four times we used it. We were denied a return or refund because it was passed the 30 day window. Thanks Amazon and Stanbroil. Don't waste your money.

Exact replacement for Weber Q
Very simple install. Got my Weber Q electric perfectly. I would just warm that this takes a bit to heat up. I would wait about 15 minutes from starting time before planning food on it.

A pretty close fit
I give it 4 stars. It works fine but it's not a perfect fit in my Q2400. I had replaced the original heating element with an element from Weber and it fit perfectly. The Stanbroil required me to bend the bottom heat shield out of the way because I could not install it otherwise. But after 1/2 hour or so I got it installed. It cooks normally although I'm not certain that it gets as red hot as the Weber heating element. Overall, good but not perfect.

Seems to have fixed my Weber Q 240
I had a Q 240 that started tripping the GFCI outlet. I've had this grill since 2013 and, judging by others comments as I looked into it, I'm fortunate to have had the heating element last this long. Anyway, either due to an extended fat flareup I had or perhaps due merely to age, the old original one gave out.I've just installed this and it seems to heat up without tripping the breaker. I'll update the review once I've cooked on it a few times if there's more to say.BTW, I think the guy who said this is wrong: "This causes the controller to not fully seat as normal — it sticks out about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. I don’t see any impact on the unit, but they just didn’t take enough care to mount the bracket in exactly the right place." He's correct in that the manufacturing of the unit wasn't as precise as the original and so there are some issues getting it seated. But you can seat it as normal. I bolted it on, and then when I went to push the controller back on I had to work very hard to get it to seat all the way, but eventually it did go all the way. In fact it was so difficult that I stopped and checked myself against the original I had just removed, and when I found that also required some additional force, I then just went for it with and was able to get it seated all the way. So, you can seat it all the way. (Also: I wouldn't want to run it with it not seated all the way; that seems like a hazard to me.)

Replacement element for Colman gas cooker.
Fit perfectly and worked well. The old element had burnt out.

Broke after 2 months.
It fits just fine but broke after 2 months of use. I'm going with the Weber OEM like I should have to begin with.
