Magpul Enhanced Aluminum Trigger Guard, Black

With so much plastic items available it was nice to find an aluminum Magpul trigger guard to match the aluminum of the AR receiver. Well constructed and easy to install with correct tools. Noticed some of the newer guards have two set screws instead of the roll pin and Allen screw attachment. I like this attachment system much better. Price was as good or better than some of the off brand plastic guards sold by other seller. If needed will definitely buy more of this type.

A definite upgrade from the stock one. Easy to install with a roll pin punch. Only drawback is doesn't come with an Allen wrench, and it a metric one

This is a genuine Magpul part that was shipped and sold by Amazon. It’s a much better trigger guard than a stock one, and also looks much better as well. Be patient removing your old roll pin. If you run into a stubborn pin, a roll pin press may be a better option than hammering with a punch. Those pins do bend and you do not want that! Using a little gun oil on them can be very beneficial. There’s some really good free instructional videos available online if you need a little assistance.

Over all, this is a great addition to my AR build over the stock trigger guard my only complaint was having to run to the store and find the right size (1.3mm) hex seems to fit nicely into the set screw. So before digging for 10 minutes looking for your 1/16" allen wrench then another 30 running to the store, check your stuff for a 1.3mm allen wrench then run to the store if you need one. Would have easily been 5 stars except for the wrong size listed and no wrench included (it cost me $0.72 at an Ace Hardware... im sure that Magpul can get that for mere pennies to include it.
