TEXTILE STATION 10 PLAIN SOLID COLOURS JELLY ROLL HONEY Bunting STRIPS 100% COTTON PATCHWORK FABRIC/art/craft/ribbon/patchwork

I bought four packs to add to my stash of jellyroll strips just in case I need to substitute some plain strips. First the good things, cotton is a good quality and the colour is nice and saturated. There are half the strips 'monochrome' and half colourful. Now the bad, they are not cut carefully. As you can see from the photo the night blue strip is two and a half inches at one selvedge and one and seven rights at the other, it was obviously on the bottom layer and shorter than the top layers when the end was squared. The light blue has another problem, it has an 'elbow' where the width of the strip at the fold is a quarter of an inch less than at the selvedge, caused by the fabric not being square when it is cut.

I thought these looked good for binding the edge of a quilt. I didn't realise they are primary colours, So I've popped them in my stash for later. Don't get me wrong, they were good value for money and I will use them, I just don't know when yet.

Used for quilting as I wanted colour variation. I would have been disappointed if I had wanted all green as per the description but not the photo

Cheap enough, but honestly I wouldn't buy again. The fabric is cut a bit wobbly so no good for quilting as accuracy is needed. for practice or little projects I suppose it would be OK. The colours are lovely though.
