Does what I need and a little more!
It runs perfectly, setup is easy, and I rarely have to reconnect it. It DOES NOT OUTPUT 4K. It CAN input 4k but outputs a max of 720p. This is perfect for discord streaming if you're like me and refuse to pay for the overpriced subscription. It works with my everything that can output HDMI! Even my Nintendo 64 (with an HDMI adapter of course)! It's perfect for what I wanted and the price is reasonable. It's reliable and it still works after over a year of constant use.TL;DR: If you want a reliable, durable capture card but don't care for recording/streaming at 1080p or higher, and don't wanna pay through the nose, then this card is for you!

worth the price
I recently purchased this video capture card for my Switch and I'm incredibly impressed with its performance. One of the best things about this capture card is how easy it is to use. It's simple to set up and requires no complicated software installation. All you need to do is plug in the device and start recording. It's a great solution for anyone who wants to capture gameplay footage without the hassle of complex equipment. The design of this capture card is also worth noting. The device itself is small and sleek, making it easy to transport and use on the go. It's also very user-friendly, with intuitive controls that are easy to understand even for those who are new to video capture. But what really sets this capture card apart is its price. It's an affordable option that doesn't compromise on quality. Despite its low price, the video and audio quality are both excellent, and there's no lag or stuttering in the recordings.Overall, I highly recommend this video capture card to anyone who wants to record and stream their Switch gameplay. It's a simple, easy-to-use device with a great design and an unbeatable price. Whether you're a seasoned streamer or just starting out, this capture card is definitely worth considering.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I could not for the life of me get my Elgato to work. There was just something with the sound settings that was not able to be figured out despite hours of frustrations and trying. This is a great alternative to an expensive capture card that actually WORKS. If you watch some videos on how to set up a capture card this should be a piece of cake for you. To be able to stream while having cute overlays, chat boxes, sound alerts etc. from PS5 is amazing. Would recommend. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that it really only operates well at 720p with 60 fsp but that's perfecting fine for streaming! It's worth the sacrifice of a little bit of quality for all of the cool stuff you can do. :)

Budget-Friendly, Pro-Level Performance
If you can’t afford a high-end capture card, this is the perfect alternative ✅️. I was honestly surprised — it works flawlessly with zero lag or delays during streaming. The video quality is even better than I expected, smooth and clear every time ✅️. For the price, this card is an absolute steal. Don’t let the low cost fool you — it performs like a premium device!

Never Worked - Got About 2 Minutes Before Device Disappared in OBS and is Not Well Supported
Did not work - could not setup. This product has ZERO documentation so you are on your own to figure out how to make it work. First, you have to have a video capture software such as OBS. No problem as this is public software and easy to install. This is where the experience ends. There are very very few videos or instructions on how to use this product with OBS or any other software. In fact after extensive search, I found exactly 2 videos. Both videos with in the first minute or so said to plug the capture device into the computer, start OBS and you are ready to go. BAM! this is where it stops working all together. The few instructions say to select USB Video Device in OSB. Well there is no USB Video Device to be selected. I tried dozens of ways and without any specific step-by-step instructions there is nowhere to go from here (see update below). In truth, the USB Video Device appeared briefly after an hour of fiddling around in OBS. I got about 2 minutes of time trying to sync resolution before the device dropped off the menu in OBS never to be seen again.I have no idea if the device failed, OBS failed or if something else is wrong. There is no direction on how to troubleshoot or where to look. I would have easily paid three times the cost for troubleshooting tips to get this device to work but we live in a world where documentation and customer support is a mythical creature.Update: I spent several more hours working on getting the HDMI capture device to work.- It may capture for a little while after many cold reboots of computer and capture device. However the second you change any settings in OBS the device disappears in OBS requiring several more cold reboots.- I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling device driver which made no difference.- I was able to get OBS to work with other sources and was stable. It seems this device or its driver corrupted OBS requiring reboots.- On the few occasion OBS saw the device it did captured video and looked good but it never captured any audio.- VLC will play audio directly from capture device but not any video. It says the video device is "is not supported" although the device documentation says VLC is supported. My conclusion: Not a good product - not well supported.
