Perfectly solid, I think
I'm actually a pencil artist, not a painter so take this with a grain of salt- but I think these are fantastic. The attached picture is acrylic, I haven't tried this series with oil yet. What I love about these over the other cheap brands I've tried is how the bristles keep shape as you work. The bristles don't separate and make weird stroke patterns or fight the paint or anything. If I lost these I'd definitely buy the same ones again. Hard to beat the quality for the price.
