How does this secure your seat from theft?

It will secure your seat. Slide one end of the cable through the metal frame under your seat. Take the other end of your cable and put it through the loop that you slid through your frame. It makes like a noose. With 6' of cable, plenty of length to reach the front wheel of your bike for further locking. I do this on both of my bikes.

I would like to use the krypto u-lock ny for the back wheel, along with a 5' chain to lock up front and post. will the chain links fit the u-lock?
