There is NO monosodium glutemate (MSG) in this ingredient list. Under USDA guidelines, MSG would have be labelled outside of natural spices. The natural spices in this recipe include things like garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, etc.

What is the shelf life?

This is a very rich (savory, fatty) jerky, so I'd give it a few months after opening (in good conditions) and a year unopened is reasonable. The two main spoilage modes are the oils going rancid and fungal growth, other than those it's just yummy.

Is this grass fed, non GMO?

You would probably have to email the company and ask where they get their beef from. I can tell you that the company is super responsive will get back to you in a timely manner.
