Amazing Exhaust Kit
Amazing exhaust kit, welded nice all the bends were perfect. The slip joints worked great made it alot easier to fab up the exhaust. Overall a great kit and would buy again for any other exhaust systems I may fab up.

Good kit
I was impressed. Good kit for the price. It’s extra oiled up. Definitely need to wipe them down and clean before welding.

Brapping Tubing
I am comparing this to a kit that’s similar on summit racing that was $170 and holy is it worth the money. It’s true 16ga. All the measurements listed were accurate and the O.D. Is within 1/64th. The only complaint I have is the expanded portion is very inconsistent. One of the 47” sections was right on the money but the pre bent sections were over expanded about a 1/16th so the joints are a little sloppy if you end up using clamps. This would be a perfect kit for welding. Have not installed yet but I am already pleased with how it looks

Perfect for the price
Well worth the money but please read this review. To start, the pipe wall thickness is 1/16 of an inch, manderal bends are flawless. Unfortunately they are coated in oil (rust prevention) so they are a bit messy, wish they selected something different. Well packed and recieved a week earlier than expected. I have read the reviews and see a lot of complaints about rust. This is caused by not understanding what you are purchasing. This set is mild steel and not coated, so yes it will rust almost immediately after removing the oil. If you want rust free, purchase aluminized or stainless. I intend to build my exhaust and have it ceramic coated and truck will not see much rain thus my choice in pipe type. Just giving my onion, take it for what you wish. My pipe kit was DAC272, made in China (unfortunately), this kit has 3 inch id pipes and the slip joints are perfect, I will be cutting those off for my application. I recieved 2, 4 ft straight pipes. 2, u-bends roughly 6-1/2 inside and 12-1/2 to the outside of the "u". 2, 45° bends and 2, 90° bends.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Hopefully I will be able to figure out how to update for final product. I hope you found this review helpful.

Nice kit
I ordered the 3" kit to create a Y pipe for my truck. Stock dimensions are barely larger than a quarter. This 3" kit should free up some power. Very good quality and with the supplied mandrel bends, almost anything can be created. Pie-cuts can be cut out of the 180 degree section using a band saw or even a fine-tooth hack saw if you're so inclined. The flared ends always face down stream of the exhaust you're making. Tack in four places ideally before final welding to make sure the pipes are where you want them. I'm doing stitch welds with 0.030 flux core wire as opposed to the 0.035". This should create a finer weld with less spatter and burn-through.

Quality pipe
I used this pipe to build a Y-pipe to install on an old 460 V-8, a first and likely last for me. I had no bender, so I made mild bends by cutting out pie-shaped cross sections, bending what was left of the cross-section, and re-welding. Otherwise, all connections were made using pieces of this set of pipe with slip joints. I'm a very amateur welder using a flux-core wire welder. The steel in this pipe was very forgiving and stood up to the heat so that I could bridge gaps. My welds are ugly, but there are no noisy leaks, and much of that is due to the fact that I really found I didn't have to worry about the pipe steel melting away too easily. One comment on other reviews criticizing this pipe for rusting. It's mild steel, as noted in the description. Mild steel rusts easily compared aluminized steel. But, if your car isn't driven very short trips constantly, that mild steel, covered in rust, will last many years.
