Ghirardelli Chocolate Lovers Gift Basket

Actually, there is more to say. Around our house, one constant is chocolate, Herseys kisses, Sees, candy bars, and the like. For Christmas, I wanted to take it up a notch or two, and Ghiradelli is a definite improvement over the norm. Yeah, it is more expensive than Sees, which we still love, but its like buying a fine wine over a boxed wine, and it is a noticeable improvement.

For the price I would have expected more. It was presented nicely and made a descent gift, but the quantity of chocolate included was lacking.

I was very disappointed with the way it was presented. It looks like a disheveled basket and was just thrown together like a 5 year old - not even shrinked-wrapped. It has three 4.85 oz bags of chocolate (caramel, milk chocolate, assorted), two 3.5 oz bars of chocolate (milk and caramel) and finally about 10 pieces of squares taped in a small basket. I'm glad I had it shipped to me because I didn't have to endure the embarrassment of giving this to a client. I wish I could post a picture to show how it was badly done. I had to redo this basket and added more chocolate, repackaged it. It is not worth $54.00 with $9 shipping.

My husband and I share 5 wonderful elderly aunts and one uncle. This was our choice of a Christmas present. We had them shipped direct and they all could not get over them. The only complaint I had was 2 did not have cards but since all the rest did and the 2 aunts that could not find one are in their late 80's they might have just missed them. All 5 said they were absolutely beautiful.

The basket us not worth 60. Go to costco and grab a basket for the same amount and a bigger product. This basket is small and was not decorated the picture. This was for my boss but looks like i will be looking into another product.

This was obviously a gift. I had to send my father a gift following surgery. This fit the bill perfectly.They were very happy with the product and it apparently tasted just yum. Great service Amazon, specially allowing me toput in the order from all the way across the world in Australia. Will use again.

Not worth $60..item returned the day it was opened. I'm sure the chocolate is delicious but not worth the price.
